What happens about every 2 years is the power supplies go dead. Chosen Solution I used a heat blower to open my iPhone 6s because it was never opened before. The adhesive loosen up and allowed me to open it up. Changed the charging port with no problem. But then the microphone got muffed and speaker head went really low. Any suggestions? You may have a defective replacement part or you could have installed it incorrectly. If you still have the original, you could install that one again to see if you have the same problems or not....

I noticed a small tear on the ribbon cable of the mic, and assumed that was it. I replaced the whole dock connector (along with the home button, camera, and back cover). This is the most recent iOS that the iPhone 4 will support, and is the last update to iOS 7. I believe iOS 7 supported Over the Air updates, but if you have difficulty doing the update over WiFi, you can always try iTunes. If you’re on a Mac, you will likely still need to use iTunes to update as Finder doesn’t support updates on many of these older phones....

Water can definitely squeeze through the cracks and ultimately find something to corrode. That will depends on just how much water and how long it is exposed to water. However, it should be pointed out that the phone was never waterproof to begin with, just water resistant (IP68)....

Now 13 months later, no coin but broken clutch housing shaft again. Order new housing clutch and install per great video guidance. Everything looks great, seems smooth turning tub.
