Chosen Solution Hello community! I just fitted a new LCD, but as you can see in the images, the screen is broken. The question is whether it is a bad screen, and i can ask for a replacement; or if this is caused by “outside factors” , as in subjected to physical stress/load? Chosen Solution I have an Xbox One 1708 controller. It’s worked great over the years, and I’ve taken good care of it. It lives in a pouch in my laptop bag when I’m not using it. It may have been dropped once or twice, but I’ve never noticed any issues after those few incidents. After some months of not playing rocket league (all I use the controller for) I recently got into it again and noticed after I flicked the left stick up or down (forward / backward), It would continue inputting movement in that direction as if it was pinned there....

Chosen Solution External Bose Bluetooth speakers go into a sleep mode when nothing is being transmitted to them. Dot, while always listening for the wake word, doesn’t seem to be sending ‘keep alive’ signals to the Bluetooth. So after a period of time, the Bluetooth will disconnect and won’t reconnect until you press the button on the speaker or tell Dot to connect to the speakers again. I believe that Dot needs to send keep alives....
Chosen Solution is it ok to remove the idle screw on the rear of the fuel injector pump to be able to reach the lower oil cooler line nut attached to the oil filter housing? How do I adjust the idler bolt back once I take it off? how many turns? It is ok if you return the screw to the same position . This can be done in one of two ways ....
Chosen Solution My macbook wouldn’t boot. It showed a folder with a question mark instead. I’m in disk utility now but it’s not detecting a disk. When I go into First Aid it doesn’t let me click on verify disk or repair disk. I tried to reinstall the OS but it isn’t showing any disk to install on. Just what drive is it? I suspect it’s an m2 and those just don’t work reliably in Macs....

Chosen Solution Hi guys We have a MacBook which wasn’t turning on at all. The battery was charging. I delved inside, and found that by disconnecting the i/o flex cable the MacBook will turn on and operate as normal as long as there is charge in the battery. Plugging in the magsafe will then preserve the battery power but not charge it. I’ve even managed to connect a flash drive to the USB port on the opposite side of the Mac, and have transferred files and done a time machine back up, and I’ve subsequently updated to Catalina....

I wondering if it possible to replace the webcam? I can’t seem to find replacement parts or guide for this model. Chosen Solution I have a mid-2012 Macbook Pro (A1278). Laptop was working fine two weeks ago. I recently tried to turn it on and there is no life in it. When I connect the magsafe charger the light is very dim and flickers orange. There is also a faint repetitive click coming from the jack. I initially tried to reset the SMC and PRAM with no effect. Chosen Solution I have a MPB 15" 2.53 mid 2009. I upgraded the standard hard drive to a SSD (512 GB Sandisk X210) purchased from ifixit. I cloned the factory drive to the SSD using Super Duper. After cloning the HDD to the SSD I installed it and turned it on, it booted up fine but not quite as quickly as I would expect for an SSD. Verified and reparied disk permissions....

Chosen Solution the charging port on my iPhone 5C is faulty. The symptoms is the phone will not switch on or show any signs of life. I opened the phone, lifted the screen and I removed the battery plug. I put a voltmeter across it and this read 0V. I then connected the phone charger and switched it on then put a voltmeter across the pins in the socket that takes the battery plug and this also read 0V....
