If under warranty take it to the Genius Bar. If not, use the appropriate guide, open and tighten the screws. A bit of LocTite might make them stay tightened a bit longer (so will not trying to push the top case back over a 90º angle....

It started off with intermittent shutdowns then it would re boot, eventually it appears to have escalated to at times not booting up at all or stalling upon booting up. Chosen Solution HI there, I have a customer’s Mac Pro, mid 2012 machine which won’t boot at all. When I press the power button, nothing happens at all, except a light odor of the magic smoke (from electronics, that is). The only time something noticeable happens is when you are looking at the logic board while plugging in the power cord. What I see are the top two LEDs that blink red momentarily in the upper left corner, below the #1 HDD....

Chosen Solution My phone is Frozen on the Mobile logo that appears when it is turning on. I can restart it by holding the power button down but it goes right to the mobile logo and freezes. How can I do a master reset? I cannot shut the phone off or take the battery out that’s why I’m having the issues of resetting it. Please help! Chosen Solution Unlike some other questions, my screen isn’t totally dead. I can still get the image to appear by pressing down on the phone in different spots. If it does (or even if it doesn’t) then it may be that you may not have to replace the screen and that it is a loose video cable connection on the motherboard that is the cause of the problem....
Chosen Solution Thought i was done with touch id problems by now but! I just put a new screen on this 5s (which ive done hundreds of times) And now the touch id isnt working. Cable if perfectly fine with no damage, its the original button, cleaned the connectors, tried soft reset. Help? button function is still fine. Thanks! Did you test touch Id before hand? Sometimes the client knows that the touch Id did not work before....

Chosen Solution Hey, Got an iPhone 7+ with NO BACK and FRONT CAMERA. Measured PP1V2_NV_VDD_CONN & PP1V2_UT_VDD_CONN. Found out that there is no voltage coming across these pins at the CAMERA FPC Connector but in Diode mode it has a normal or close to normal resistance. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers! :D You need the connectors connected and the camera app open to take voltage readings on these lines.
Chosen Solution Yes, a different behavior in charging when phone is on or off points to a faulty charging circuit and a Tristar replacement is most probably needed (no U2 IC exists on the iPhone SE). The overheating you experienced is also a hardware fault indication that’s due to a short to ground. I’m quite hesitant to recommend fixing the iPhone given the present SE market value..unless you have a 32GB and up version the repair cost would be close to a second hand phone....

Chosen Solution my alarm keeps going off and i can only press snooze, survived a 4 story fall ~ 32 feet Yep, take the two screws covering the battery and charging port connector then you can disconnect the battery. Most people are trying to squeeze in hi-res displays on non hi-res systems. I would check around a little more for the correct screen as the resale value will be better....

I know I can get a 240GB hard drive to put in it but I’m not sure if these hard drives come with an operating system and software on them or whether I need to somehow obtain and install these myself? Upon picking it up, I discovered the volume buttons no longer worked. I then tried the power button and it was the same. I then started testing other functionality and found the iSight camera no longer works. The front camera still works without issue....
Chosen Solution So I recently picked up a used N3ds xl off eBay. The only issue it has is that the Left trigger button is non responsive. I have tried to blow on it. I also tried replacing the ribbon cables with new ones and that did not work either. The ZL button works properly tho. If I turn the ribbon cable connection upside down and connect it shows as if it’s always pressed....

Chosen Solution I recently carried my old Macbook (late 2007 C2D) in a backpack, and there was a little rain, but the papers i had with it weren’t even damp so i’m not sure if that could be the reason. It did work for a while, around 20 minutes, and when i opened the lid again a few hours later, the backlight shut down. I shut it down and again, it works for 2 seconds....
