Chosen Solution When I use Google Maps the point has a wide halo insted of an arrow. How can I fix this? Also wondering if I need to wipe the device clean and reinstall everything. Try another navigation service like Waze and see if it can better pinpoint your location. It may be a problem with Google Maps instead of your phone so let’s rule that out by testing Waze instead....

Find them on eBay. Dwight, that depends on where you are. There are lots of places that would do that for you (for a fee of course). I’d try Google or a similar search engine to find a reputable shop that will do that....

Chosen Solution have just bought an old agfa optima I (1960) 35mm film camera, the view finder and ? light sensor are fogged with what looks like mould. I have found a repair manual for the agfa optima but the top panel is different on mine.. the shutter release is on the front of the camera not the top as in that version. I’ve googled for a few days and not found any other repair manual....

Chosen Solution Low water flow to to washer Hi @calldive5 , Have you checked the pressure out of the tap that the washer’s water inlet hose is connected to? Check the pressure out of the inlet hose by turning off the tap, disconnecting the hose from the washer , placing the end of hose in the sink and turning on the tap. There usually is a filter in the end of the hose which may be clogged up and impeding the flow of water....

Chosen Solution I’m making some upgrades on my laptop so it currently does not have a battery installed inside of it. I am only relying on the AC Adapter as a power source at the moment. With that being said, when I plug the charger in, it lights up green as if there was a full battery inside. When I press the power button, nothing happens. The logic board just sits there....

Chosen Solution As stated above, When I power on my 15: Macbook Pro Early 2011 (A1286), it does the chime and Apple logo a loading sign appears and disappears like normal, when that is finished it goes into a white screen and stays there…forever. Extra detail: When the Apple logo appears, it has a strange yellow highlight, not normal. I have attempted every Macbook short cut available. Safe boot wil not boot....

I have a black screen when the power button is pushed and it makes a single mono tone that repeats until I hold the power button down to power off the computer. It is a 2010 model #A1286. Chosen Solution I accidentally ran my phone through the washer. After placing it in a plastic bag with uncooked rice to dry it out everything works except the only way to place or receive a call is on speaker phone. If I’m not on speaker phone I can hear them but they can’t hear me. The ipod works with the headphones in and will play audible music with the headphones out....

Chosen Solution So here’s the story, I replaced a screen with an aftermarket screen on IOS 10, screen worked fine, but the proximity sensor had come away from the camera flex so wasn’t working, took it apart to try and reseat the proximity sensor, it still wouldn’t work, whilst reconnecting had forgotten battery was still attached and blew the backlight filter, sent it away for repair, came back everything working but the home button, turns out the main home button flex on the screen had become faulty, in the mean time I had updated the IOS to 11....

Chosen Solution I was given an iPhone 8 to repair that was smashed on the front and the back, as well as having the frame bent. Long story short, I transferred the parts into an aftermarket frame (with glass and wireless charging coil pre-installed) and installed a new screen. Everything is working brilliantly (iOS 12.1) until today when I tried using Apple Pay to make a purchase. I had gone through the setup with my bank card and it shows in the Wallet, but doesn’t come up when I hold my phone up to the reader....

Today ive tried just about everything from resetting it to charging it for 3+ hours but nothing happens. the home button is unresponsive and so is doing anything else with this phone.. Chosen Solution I’ve been having my 6 plus for about a year now and it’s never really acted up before, aside from freezing every once in a while, which would be quickly resolved by turning it off and on again. Though, for the past month it’s gotten progressively worse. Now not only will it completely freeze, it will randomly begin opening apps and clicking all kinds of things. The tech staff at Best Buy said clearing out some space in it and resetting settings would do the trick, but after clearing out many texts, phone call history, pictures, and apps, the problem still spiratically makes my phone useless at least once a day....
