Chosen Solution I went kayaking iphone dropped in water? Got a text, Charged too , repaired with alcohol (100%) everything responsive except the screen it shows pinkish white colors and with some lines, the home button, power, volum up down button looks responsive but not the screen any ideas? Vineet, not exactly sure what your screen looks like, but I would definitely replace the front display assembly. Of course you also want to make sure that you cleaned all of the connectors as well as the cable ends, very good....

Chosen Solution For the first hour after i heavly broken the screen (i smashed the oled pannel underneath the glass, upon the logic board connections) the phone was fine, then it suddenly started to bootloop on the apple logo. When connected to iTunes sometimes the boot reach the point when the phone gets identified (and gives a vibration), sometimes not In recovery mode, trying to recover i get error 10 and 4013....

Chosen Solution My ipod classic works perfectly. It connects well on the Pc, handles well and syncs well with Itunes but it is not recognized by my station HIFI. I cleaned the 30-pin connector without result What did you use to clean it? And can you try another known good iPod/iPhone with your station? It could be that the fault lies with the Hi-Fi station itself. Or try your iPod with a different docking station....

Chosen Solution I happened before and I just plugged it doing the hard reset but not this time. When I plug it into any pc the “connected” screen appears and then it changes to the apple logo and after that it turns off, then it repeats the same thing. I can’t hard-reset the ipod because, I don’t know why I guess I’ll have to open it I guess it was the problem with the itunes 9 and those ipod classics....

Chosen Solution Hi , i have just repaired an iphone 6 board (shorted cap) there is no sign of water damage , should i ultrasonic the board any way after any rework or is it unnecessary ? If the board was water damaged, then absolutely! However, if you did a very localized fix and there isn’t flux residue all over the place, I believe it’s appropriate to clean the board locally with IPA or Flux Remover....

Chosen Solution Since it said that LCD is used in Iphone 11 should i also use LCD as an screen replacement or should i use OLED?because some say that OLED is better than LCD. Will it still be okay if ill use OLED? From what I’ve seen they don’t make oled screen replacements for LCD phones only the other way around. Even if they did I would say to use the the original type of screen since the phone was designed with that screen in mind....

Chosen Solution Hi, my JVC LCD TV (LT-32DR1BJ, it’s not an LED model) has suddenly gone dark, but not really dark like the problem people usually seem to get… it’s just like the brightness has been fixed at the lowest possible value or something. Turning the settings to their maximum only brightens it a tiny bit. Apparently it occasionally flicks into being bright again for a while. I’ve attached an image but it’s hard to capture, everything is still easily visible, but just way too dark, in fact with some images it almost feels acceptable....

Chosen Solution I’ll try and make this short but this is a LONG journey with a ton of information. During a tune up (cleaning dust and installing new RAM and solid state) in my 2010 macbook pro, i forgot to unplug the battery before i began work. This ultimately fried the backlight fuse and an inductor and capacitor on the WLAN circuit. After repairing both i power on my mac and it is INCREDIBLY SLOW-like unbearable, the fans are also at maximum speed....

Chosen Solution I have a late 2013 A1419 27" iMac and while servicing it the technician damaged the flexible cable that feeds into the display itself. I was looking around for a replacement and for some reason the 5k displays are quite a bit cheaper than the correct (LM270WQ1 SD F2, 661-7885) display. The correct panel seems to cost $500USD to $1000USD, while the 5k (LM270QQ1-SDA2) panel seems to only cost $350-$700USD....

Chosen Solution I’ve lost the USB dongle to my afterglow controller, but I brought a used one off a neighbor and since my controller is in better condition than theirs is I was hoping to be able to sync my controller to their dongle…it doesn’t seem to be working for me though so I’m starting to wonder if its even possible. There appears to be a sync button on the back of the controller though, so logically I would think it should go thru… can anyone tell me if I’m doing something wrong or if it’s just impossible?...

Chosen Solution Hi. My MacBook Pro (MD212) sometimes shutdown (not “gracefully”) with no warning given. The date and time reset to Jan. 1 midnight. This happens when the notebook is on battery power. To be specific, it’s more likely to happen when the remain battery is between 30%-60%. I have never experienced this issue when plugged in. And the sudden shutdown happens under both Yosemite and El Capitan. Hey Starry, You might have a bad battery....

Chosen Solution Hi I have a issue that i havent heard about. My iphone 7 hade to have a new screen so i had that put in. After A day or to the screens started to have it own life. Now maybe once or twice a day the screen goes gray/black and is it until I press the off button on and off and it starts to work fine again. The screen is working fine and i have tried using an other screen thats working on an other phone and the problem keeps happening....

Chosen Solution so i recently replaced my display/screen couple weeks ago. upon opening it, i noticed the water indicators were red. after a couple weeks of a good screen, my phone randomly turned off. i opened the phone and was reconnecting all connectors but it only powers on without the lightning connector plugged in. could i had a damaged connector or could it be more than that? It may be that if water was just a very little amount it took some time to show its effects....
