Chosen Solution A customer brought me his iPhone 7 plus he said he was using it and turned off and it was hot I tested a new battery and screen what I notice is when I use the new battery it starts to overheat and won’t turn on Any ideas? If the phone is getting abnormally warm, then something inside is causing an excessive current draw (hence heat). This will be due to a failed or partially failed component, be it modular or board level....

Chosen Solution Hi i’ve got an iPhone XS that got water damaged in the top killing the light sensor. i’ve managed to make run the phone by disconnecting the flex cable of the earpiece from the motherboard. However vibrations weren’t working and the phone was laggy sometimes freezing on apps launching and multitasking and it also had an annoying volume problem ( the volume rose to max on its own )....

Chosen Solution iphone5 black\blue screen after screen replacement…no apple logo,but i hear sound vibrate…i tried itunes update restore ,is the same. hold home and power off no result.any idea Put it into dfu and restore to a backup. I’ve had this issue before, after changing a screen. Hopefully that’ll do the trick. But you should see a logo. It is very possible that you misplaced your screws, and one of them is in the wrong place, damaging the logic board....

Chosen Solution Hello, my wife’s phone suffered an accident resulting with the screen destroyed and the metal case severely damaged, but it still worked. I bought a new metal outer case, screen and battery, I unmounted all the parts from the old case and put them in the new one, it worked well except the loudspeaker. I put a new loudspeaker and it did not work, next I changed the charging connector ribbon....

Chosen Solution After performing a screen and battery replacement, I realised I forgot to adhere the new battery down to the casing. However, I’ve not notice anything adverse since doing it. Should I have stuck the new battery back down? What is the consequences of not adhering the new battery down? Apologies, my Google Fu has failed me today. It is not necessary,but recommended. It can rattle around a little bit and could bump against the inside of the screen....

Chosen Solution My 3yrd old son threw a ruler and accidentally punctured the screen, causing loss of 70% of viewable screen. Can the LCD screen be easily replaced in these all-in-one units? Thanks, Sebastian Well unfortunately iFixit has neither the guide nor the part, however this guide for the 20 inch shouldn’t be too far off, but you’ll have to look elsewhere for the part. You probably need the whole display....

Chosen Solution Is it possible to upgrade the RAM on this model? As I browse through the model page, i can´t see a RAM slot on the motherboard! Thanks. The RAM (4GB) in this system is soldered to the main logic board. This system does not have any means to add additional memory. Asus made a second model in this series a X552EA which has 8GB soldered. I just put an 8gb ddr3 ram chip in to replace the 4gb....

Chosen Solution Currently, when you turn a Super Nintendo on (and many other old school video game consoles) it will not display any image until you insert a healthy cartridge, thus it’s harder to identify if the console is connected correctly or if it is showing some sign of malfunction. What i want to do is to add a splash image before loading the cartridge so you can identify that your snes is correctly connected, or does not have any video issue, or it is just waiting for your cartridge....

My wife let some water with detergent drops felt onto the trackpad (I am not sure if the keyboard received also), so we cleaned. At that time the trackpad was not working well. We turned off, cleaned with alcohol, turned on and started to work all right. The next day, I used for a while, but after some time, everytime I clicked with the trackpad, the computer did as I was clicking the secondary button (I was not)....

I have scoured the net to find potential causes and solutions but nothing has helped so far. I will say, even when running slowly it has a slight rattle/creak almost like the something may be rubbing. Chosen Solution I recently bought a replacement 2.0GHz logic board for my a1150. The logic board boots fine, however About My Mac only reports 1.67GHz for the processor speed (Yes it is a 2.0/2.2 GHz logic board based on video type and memory.) Also the fans will not spin up after boot (They do the test spin), though in testing them outside the system they work fine. Bootcamp shows an issue with the firmware revision, and I am unable to either update or roll back the firmware....

Chosen Solution A small piece of metal fell out of my iphone 12 pro charging port. It looks like a half square. What is this? And does my phone need it? Having worked on a lot of iPhones, I can’t think of any part of the phone that could fall out of a charging port. Does the phone still charge? I replaced the struts and strut bearings and still have the sound. The sound seems to increase or be most noticeable when the car sits a while with the engine running on a HOT day? Chosen Solution Hello! Well i bought an broken PS4 on ebay. The seller told me that it cant get updated. I tryed to update it manually and i tryed to install the whole system new. When i did that there always came an error (ce-35888-2) so i searched around and found out that the seller maybe swaped the disc drive and threw away the original daughterboard. I saw many daughterboards on ebay for like 10$ so my question is can i buy one of those whos matching and how can i see if they match, is there a nummber to check or something?...
