I have this watch on my wrist right now and I think it is awesome but it would be even more amazing if it was waterproof. Chosen Solution Spring time and hail are synonymous in my part of the world. I’m wondering if I can take out a few pea or marble size dents without to much trouble. With the new battery installed, the phone could turn on but it does not charge the battery. I was using a usb charger cable. It looked like the usb flex port was damaged. Chosen Solution have a Nintendo 3ds bought in japan it however is in Japanese, how do i switch it into English? You cant change it, and also, you cannot transfer data between a Japanese 3DS and a English 3DS. Gamestop CANNOT do that either. Plus, data saved on the SD Card of the Japanese 3DS also cannot be transferred to ANY 3DS what so ever, besides the music and pictures you put on it yourself....
Chosen Solution Kaspersky repeatedly advises of “important” Java update but every update attempt in Kaspersky fails “because Chrome is running” (though Chrome is not actually open). After closing Chrome as prompted in the Kaspersky dialog, still the update fails. Six or more Chromes are listed in Task Manager. Attempts to End task on any of these gives an alert saying that Pocket or Kaspersky etc. is crashing, so I back out....
Chosen Solution I was outside while camping and it started to rain lightly. I was making a booking for drier accommodation in the only place in the campground that got a 4G signal. By the time I had completed the booking both the screen and the keyboard were both a little damp. Instead of leaving the MacBook Pro open to dry when back in the tent I mistakenly closed it. Now I have an impression of the keyboard on the MacBook Pro screen before I switch it on....

The control center displays “searching” infinitely (image attached) and i cannot update any carrier settings since my phone already has the latest one. i cannot make any calls or connect to the internet on mobile data. As far as I know I Have followed all instructions, it’s the same make and model laptop as the guide is made for. There seems to be resistance on the board near where the display data cable is but I do not see any screws or connectors that I have neglected to remove....

Chosen Solution I replaced an iPhone 6s Plus screen and now the front camera and front speaker is not working. The proximity sensor is working however. I looked over the front camera flex cable and I don’t see any damage. When I first replaced the screen, the camera was still working. After a day of use, it cut out. Is it the screen or the flex cable? Any advice? Double check connector is properly locked, ideally it should do a light click when it gets in place on its socket....
Chosen Solution Iphone SE - light water damage. Phone boots up nicely but freezing after putting last digit of the password. (A little googling and found that NFC ic could do that). Removed board and it was a bit corroded around U5301_RF chip. I was missing STOCKHOLM 5V (it was showing 0,6 V). So changed the U5301 and also U5302 - now the result on STOCKHOLM 5V line is showing the VCC_Main value and not booting the line up....

Chosen Solution damaged one of the 2 wires not the hard drive wire were can i find replacement wire / @bdocast1953 it would help if you give as a bit more information. The only other “wires” would be your hold switch/audio jack wire, the display cable , or the battery wire. For the battery wire, you will have to replace the battery. If it is the display cable, you will need a new LCD and for the audio jack you will need a new one of those....

Chosen Solution My grandson chewed through the wire is there anyway I can have this fixed @bigfee - Don, IFIXIT does not do repairs on items, we offer advice/trouble shooting on how to do repairs your self through the volunteer answer page/site. It sounds like the wires will have to be stripped back, matched up, soldered properly and rewrapped/insulated. If not wanting to attempt the repair your self pop into a good local electronics/computer repair shop and have them take a look and estimate repair....

Thanks If you have a hardware issue, DrFone will not do anything. In fact, most of these software solutions don’t do anything at all from a repair standpoint but they’re useful for accessing data, migrating, seeing the phone info etc. Error 9 is a serious error and if hardware related, could be caused by a NAND issue or some other short condition....
