Chosen Solution Can someone tell me if this is a fuse or is there one under it? It is labeled like a fuse. I heard a pop while I was workin on it and now it won’t start Christine Shriam that is the fuse. It comes looking like that. Use a meter to check the continuity of the fuse.

Chosen Solution Hello, I have the error 9 when i restore my iPhone after a changement of battery and an upgrade. I had some progress when i disconnected the lcd, the restoration went further but it stope also. Does there’s something else to disconnect ? For a successful restore: Make sure the battery is holding some charge, you are using a known good original cable, and charging port is clean. Force the phone into DFU mode....

Have a no backlight situation, pretty sure it’s the fuse but can’t find it to check. HELP!! :) Occurred after screen replacement, which I believe was faulty. Installed screen in 2 identical laptops to troubleshoot and both now have no backlight on any screen. The screen part number is NV156FHM-N61. Thanks for any input....

Chosen Solution I bought a used MacBook and I wanted to do a factory recovery. I restarted and held down command + R. I went to disk utility and erased Mac OS extended journaled. I restarted and I clicked on reinstall Lion OS. when I click on the hard drive and it states Hard drive Locked, I am unable to do anything. Try changing the RAM configuration by pulling one stick....

Shortly afterwards the screen went black and have had no sound or pic since. It does power up though. Any help will save my hairline! Apple now has the extension program for the backlight issue, and I had the exactly same problem as posted earlier. After tons of time investment to the refund precess, I’m told my serial number of the system is not eligible for a refund (550$) and they told me they are willing to compensate any accessories for less than 250$....
Chosen Solution When I connect my iPhone 11 to my 2012 MacBook Pro using the USB lightening cable, nothing happens - the phone does not charge, nothing changes on the MacBook not even momentarily. I have tried another cable and USB port but it’s always the same. I have tested both cables with wall charger and all is well. I have also tried connecting to an iMac and again as soon as I connect the phone charges and a message pops up on the iMac....
Chosen Solution My friend have me her laptop. She told me that she spilled liquid over the macbook pro, but the laptop was closed. She says it was not severely wet. She left it 2 hours on rice and later when she turned it on it showed the apple logo and then it shutted off. I opened it and simply used a duster to remove excess dust. I got it to boot completely, but on the next day the laptop did the exact thing again....
Chosen Solution Macbook 13’ trackpad click not working goes on and off. It will work fine and every once in a while the click will stop working, but the tracking will still work. I have opened it up and it is plugged into the logic board. Everything else works great I ran hardware test and It came back 100% okay. Since it’s not consistent I would consider two possibilities, a failing trackpad and/or a swollen battery....
Chosen Solution Hello, I am trying to repair a the home button on an iPhone SE. When I opened it up the touch ID wire was disconnected and the bracket is missing. Can I reconnect it without the bracket? Do I need to solder it? Or should I strip it out and install the new button I’ve got? These brackets are not essential for the home button to function correctly. About 40% of the repairs I have done on the SE the brackets have been missing....
Chosen Solution Hey guys, I am trying to fix a Macbook air 11 inch motherboard. Fan spin and green light but no image. All power rails are present and I replaced LCD connector and LED driver. PCH signal present etc seems CPU dead even though the board will charge battery. I spend quite a few hours already on this board :) If you have any ideas or experienced to share. I have also replaced the bios chip still no chime or image....
Chosen Solution The iPhone X was working fine until the bottom right screw holder of the motherboard came off. Since then, the ear speaker, main speaker, mic isn’t working and the phone is dead slow. Can I use jump wire to remedy this? I can’t see anything connected through my bare eyes. Please help. Apple does have a tendency to route traces around screw holes…but not in this particular instance. That said, there are a lot of very fine traces in close proximity to the screw hole so if any one of those is compromised, then you will have issues with your logic board....
Chosen Solution I recently replaced the screen on my iPhone SE. After the repair, I found that the front and rear cameras both no longer work; the camera app simply displays a black screen and other applications like Snapchat say that they cannot access the camera. The flash also doesn’t work, but the proximity sensor, earpiece, and auto display brightness feature are all working fine. I’m on the latest version of iOS, and I reopened the phone to check that all ribbon cables are plugged in properly....
