Chosen Solution hello! im confused and angry and mere seconds away from breaking s**t! my problem- I replace my lightening port connector/headphone etc on my iphone 5s a while ago ad everything seemed to be hunky dory, then as luck would have it my loudspeaker packed in. i have just replaced the loudspeaker and turned the phone on and tested it without fully replacing the screen and all was fine, left music playing and started to clip the screen into place, all was fine until the corner by the speaker located and the music stopped, tried everything and it was gone, removed everything again and replaced, and the same thing happened, all was ok until the screen was refitted....

Chosen Solution Hi. Just wondering if anyone knew what might be the issue here. PSU is fine so it looks to be a logic board issue, but I’m not sure if it’s something than could be fixed. When I attach the power cord, the fan does a quick spin then stops, then a quick spin again, then stops, and it just keeps doing this. This is without touching the power button....

Chosen Solution I have a macbook pro 15" Retina display late 2013. When I start my MacBook it will show a question mark in a folder. I tried to select the hard drive but nothing is there. sometimes it will let me log in. ill use it and then it will freeze. ill turn it off and restart and it will be the same problem with the question mark folder. Not sure what to do....

Chosen Solution Hi, I bought my Macbook brand new in 2016 (mid 2015 model) and I was using it 99% of the time at home. The problem is that I’ve started noticing that my rubber feet doesn’t actually touch the table, it’s the Macbook’s “belly” that is touching the table. First thing I thought was that my battery is failing and it deformed the bottom case of the laptop. I’ve checked and battery status is OK and it has only 60 cycles....

Chosen Solution Hi folks, I spilled a cup of coke over my macbook. After disassembling and an alcohol bath I managed to start it up again by connecting the two tiny solder points on the logic board. Then, I connected the upper case to the logic board and was able to boot into snow leopard. The trackpad worked fine, but the whole right side of the keyboard was dead. After that I thought that I only have to order a new upper case to get it working again, but as I connected a borrowed and working upper case, the Mac didn’t react when I pressed the power button....

Chosen Solution After mild liquid (cat pee) damage near the left (charger, USB, headphone jack) side, magsafe light will not come on. The computer shows the charger icon with no “lightning bolt” and the battery says 0%. It appears to be getting power from the charger, since it has not died even though it’s been a couple of months since this happened. The USB and headphone jack work. At the genius bar, they opened it but would not fix it once they saw it was gross liquid damage....

Chosen Solution A simple installation in a 1995 jeep wrangler. Kenwood KMR-D562BT. The radio runs perfectly with ignition in “Accessory” position. It also works perfectly in the “ignition ON position. But 2-3 minutes after I start the engine I get MISWIRING CHECK WIRING THEN POWER ON. I have tried “reset” I have checked to no avail to see what is the difference in power in or out between ignition ON and engine running....

Chosen Solution My phone was at 2% power and none of my buttons were working. I charged the phone and now only the home button/Siri work. I can not power off the phone or select any of the other buttons like settings or pictures, messages, etc. When i call the phone from another line, it rings but I can not answer it. The phone button is a darker color green than the message button, kind of like it is partially depressed....

Chosen Solution When I initialy start my truck it starts fine and I can drive it with no problems. But when I shut the engine and try to start it again it wont stay on. It will crank over like it wants to start but dies down. I have replaced the Module, coil, fuel filter, plugs and wires, cap and rotor, and the throttle position sensor. Chosen Solution Are there any other Sim trays compatible with the iPhone 7? I searched the answers forum and didn’t find any info on it. Thanks in advance I know I’m answering my own question but I had the guy return to try Sim trays that I had on hand. Here’s my verdict after trying what I had. The iPhone 7 plus Sim tray definitely works in an iPhone 7. It doesn’t quite sit flush with the outside but it is barely noticeable and will make do until you get the right part if you don’t have it yet....

Chosen Solution i am having a very strange problem with my iphone 6 as it restore correctly it has imei wifi mac basbeband version sep but no service and it does not show carrier option in setting it is factory unlocked and accept any sim one more thing is that when i am dialing *#06# no imei option comes up iphone os i unable to communicate to baseband … as setting is able to get imei and baseband version is dues to nvram items in the nand ic and it flashes correctly becaue while flashing the baseband uses another mode and serial path....

Chosen Solution is $400 an acceptable cost to replace a 1TB MacBook Pro SSHD? Sent in for repairs, and this what the cost is being quoted ( and this is with labor covered under warranty). Am I being taken here? Update (06/25/2018) Drive was wiped clean (in an attempt to fix) and labor is covered under warranty. So really its just the cost for the drive. Yes that is an acceptable cost....

So my question was: With HS v.10.13.2, is it now safe/feasible to upgrade to HS and not have all the APFS/SSD/HDD errors that have been raging on various forums....

Chosen Solution The entire screen is shattered but the screen is still usable. How can I fix the cracked screen or is it possible to send it in to someone to get it fixed? The iPad Pro has a fused digitizer and LCD, like the Air 2. However, I have not seen this screen assembly offered for sale by any of the “traditional” suppliers. You can find it in aliexpress but the price varies pretty widely and I would be suspicious of the lower cost versions....

Chosen Solution As per the title above. The listed teardown is great however it does not cover the battery. Hi @kipyegon , I’m assuming that you mean the ifixit AWEI BT Earbuds & Receiver Teardown? In the 3rd image of Step.6 in the guide the battery can be seen and it appears that it is soldered to the circuit board (it’s hard to be sure though) and that the battery is just sitting in place in the shell of the case....

Chosen Solution As with the first question I too am having trouble using my camera. I hook it up to charge and red light flashes briefly then goes solid gree, how ever when I try to use the camera it seems the battery is dead. In order to determine if it is a defective battery I have to try a new one. Where can I get a new battery. Dick Rutter, from your description alone, it does sound like your battery is no longer holding a charge....
