Chosen Solution In my quest to repair my daughter’s iPhone 6s, I now find that the PP16V5_MESA voltage is missing from the J4100 connector. Unfortunately I know this voltage was fine before (the screen worked), and I apparently affected something while finding and repairing a shorted capacitor in the PP2V75_MAMBA_LDO circuit. I found the shorted cap (C4121), but only after removing U4100 and surrounding components FL3202, C4128, FL4107, C4106, FL4105, FL4120, C4124, and Q3140....

Chosen Solution I have recently bought a faulty Samsung Syncmaster F2380 monitor in hope of fixing it and using it for personal purposes. The device used to work for a few seconds before turning off the backlight until pressing the power button. After opening up the device I noticed one cable of the CCFL backlight had burnt at the solder point on the CCFL tube. After resoldering the connections to the tubes and checking everything else I reassembled the whole thing back together....

Brushes seem to be free moving. @cajamadi ,Peter, Sounds like the center hub retaining bolt may of came loose or hub may have cracked/stripped not holding tight on shaft. Chosen Solution My iPhone 6 restarts randomly and starts boot looping. Sometimes it immediately restarts when unplugged, sometimes it takes opening an app, opening the control center or just doing something in any app. When it is charging, everything works like normal, and it stops boot looping if it currently is. The battery was replaced in 2016 at a third party repair store, and worked until recently. Last December I noticed that the left side of the device was bent open and could not be closed, and inside it looks like the battery is thicker than normal, stopping the device from being closed....

It depends on what you mean exactly..you may transfer a bunch of chips from a phisically damaged clean iPhone to a fine working iCloud locked one..in essence you’d be making a brain transplant and although on the tube some make it seem pretty easy it’s indeed a difficult job needing a very, very good technician with great dexterity and tens of chip reworks experience at least. At today’s market prices for an iPhone 6 it would make such job uneconomical, but for the fun of it, if you replace CPU, NAND, Baseband, Eeprom you can get an iCloud “bypass” as some call it....

I checked the battery charge status by pressing the button on the side and all 8 lights blink 5 times. Any ideas? When battery goes unused for months best practice would be to charge it to 70/80% and disconnect it from the system....

The laptop was in its own bag, but I only noticed that the water bottle was in my bag after 5 minutes or so. Chosen Solution This happens with this E7440 randomly, but this is the ~4th or 5th occurrence of the issue: Laptop doesn’t hibernate right multiple times, audio stops working when I get forced into a reboot to a fresh desktop, I need to uninstall and reinstall the driver to fix it. Rinse and repeat as the audio drops dead again. I have tried throwing the book at this laptop and nothing sticks - Reset the BIOS in the UI, pulled the CMOS battery and dumped the BIOS settings for the default checksum and tried to stop and restart the audio hardware in Device Manager - NOTHING fixes the issue short of uninstalling, rebooting, reinstalling the Dell driver and then it happens again....
