Chosen Solution Hi, My screen was failing and eventually it died. Few days ago I replaced it with a new one. Although new screen works great, my macbook runs extremely slow and fans are loud right from the start. Did anyone have similar issue? I read somewhere that thermal sensor can get an error and slow the cpu on purpose.. I apple store they told me that they would have to send it out for a hardware repair....

Chosen Solution Hi, I’m trying to figure out this loud knocking sound that happens when my Kenmore elite goes in to any spin cycle. It’s even worse when it’s in the high speed spin. I’ve pulled off the back of the machine inspected the motor belt and pulley. It all looks fine. I also made sure that its level. But it still makes the noise. Any info will help. Thanks John...

Chosen Solution Does anybody know the reason that some fuses on the Mac motherboards are marked with an N and some with a P - please? They are different devices used on a logic board: a shorting bar is not the same as a fuse. A shorting bar (5 Amp fuse or higher) is not designed to limit the current flow whereas a fuse is! After I removed the motherboard, I can see the motherboard is broken after the J4503 front camera connector and before the small circle (see attached picture).The motherboard is broke completely at the narrowest point, just right after the J4503 front camera connector. Chosen Solution I forgot to unhook the battery. Self teaching repairs. IPhone 8 front can ribbon flamed up a bit and the screen had worked prior. Did I damage the logic board, battery or screen… or all 3? Won’t turn on at all now. Suggestions for a device to test screens? Device to test separated logic boards? Thanks! Sparks and smoke point to a short to ground and burnt components. Try unplugging both cameras connectors, disconnect and reconnect battery and see it the phone starts without those parts in place....

Chosen Solution I’m asking out of curiosity here. It appears that the digitizer is behind the LCD on the iPhone 5s, but has traces running through the LCD. Is this true, or am I imagining things? Front glass is just glass. The LCD has touch sensors built in, there is no separate digitizer. front glass is certainly not the digitizer. if your touch screen and LCD are working fine , you can indeed replace the glass only....

Chosen Solution Bought liquid damaged MacBook Pro from eBay worked fine when hard started. But power button didn’t work. Yesterday I finally replaced keyboard/backlight/ and power button. Keyboard and backlight work great but power button is still unresponsive and I still have to hard start the computer. Pretty sure it’s an SMC problem ( trackpad will click not scroll, fans running at high speed). Which I can’t reset without a power button to my knowledge....

Chosen Solution I have not worked on one of these 2015 12" models yet. I got one in with a missing key and a spacebar that works but is depressed on the right hand side. What I believe has happened is that the plate that holds the keys so thin that pressing hard on the keys bends in down preventing replacing the keys correctly and if they are replaced they are down and depressed (just like me looking at having to replace this keyboard ;-( ....

Chosen Solution our KitchenAid microwave makes a very loud Snap! when it starts, but only when the room humidity is over 70% from weather or from boiling on stove underneath. Is it dangerous? Can it be fixed? Why does it make this loud snap? right when it turns on it pops? that sounds like it could be a grounding issue in the microwave. i would honestly advise against using it if you hear electricity popping like that when you power it on....

Chosen Solution I’m working on a macbook air a1304 logic board which has been liquid damaged. It gennerally looks fine, except from two tantalum capacitors marked with s7 Aw. and the component marked with white tape and text hdd com on some images and 4.7 UH 0815K on the actual chip. This looks like it has overheated. Any suggestions to how i get and replace these? can’t seem to find any info on these on the internet....
