Chosen Solution My Macbook’s keyboard broke last year. First the space bar started working only about half of the time. Then other keys started giving me the same problem, like ERTYUI. Cleaning the keys seemed to help a little but only for a while and not 100%. I replaced the entire keyboard which turned out to be very dirty. With the new keyboard my Mac was working fine again. Now, after about 5 months in which I’ve used the Mac very little, the keyboard has started giving me trouble again....

Hi @susel61 , Looking at the wiring diagram in the service manual for the keyboard, (Be patient, it takes a little while to go from “processing” to “Download” once you have passed the reCAPTCHA test and click on Go to Download) I suspect that there is either a loose cable connector between the circuit board that connects those notes to the next circuit board in the keyboard or a dry joint wire on the cable connector itself at either end of the cable....

Chosen Solution Replaced optic drive successfully. Now the controller lags terribly. I’ve read that it’s something wrong with a Bluetooth component on the motherboard. It’s just weird because I barely touched the MB when I replaced the Drive. But any help is appreciated. Thanks Sounds like you have a problem with the WiFi antenna. First, check to make sure that the cable is plugged in under the power supply as it should be....

Chosen Solution I have a lenovo laptop and when I turn it on the screen won’t turn on but I know the laptop is on because I can hear the fan and the start up sounds. I’ve tried taking out the battery and holding down the power button but this doesn’t work. Any ideas on what is wrong and how to fix it. Chosen Solution Mac mini (Mid 2011) I installed a 240 GB SSD as my boot drive and a 750 GB platter drive in the second bay a few years ago. Has been running flawlessly. I was thinking of bumping up the SSD to more like a 500 GB or larger but when I initially installed this current config I did so because it was apparently “all this machine could handle.” I didn’t know if that was a power draw thing or what, but maybe current gen SSDs are more power conservative so actual size isn’t an issue?...

The connection where the power supply is connecting to outlet? (Not the cord itself but inside of the supply) If someone could give me the proper terms, or a better way to describe these items I’d appreciate it! Chosen Solution Hi I’m trying to fix this I know I’ve messed it up way to much I wanted to fix my touch ic and by accident pulled out the wrong piece because I got the wrong piece in the mail but either way it’s missing tons of components do you guys think I would need a new logic board of soldering the peices without componets still work I’m not too sure if it’ll work...

Chosen Solution When replacing the audio cable I slightly crimped the microphone cable and now my mic doesn’t work. I then turned it on and the startup chime came, run the diagnostics and it said there is a problem with the battery and it needs a firmware update. Restarted but this time the fan just starts/stops. If i unplug the battery it will start correctly again, but when i shut it down then the same happens....

When trying to power on, the power indicator light will turn on for a sec before it goes off instantly. My system has no water damage and has not experienced great damage from dropping. But! They seem quiet but also extra sensitive to physical contact with the phone itself. Would this potentially be the result of dust build up? And is there a simple way to hopefully remove any blockages? Check here you can install 4GB (2 x 2GB modules) in this model MacBook Pro (aka Late-2006 series MacBook Pro), but only ~3GB will be recognized and used by the system. this is because part of the 4GB memory space is reserved & used by certain system functions. I have this particular model 2.33GHz 15" MBP with 2x2GB installed and can verify this is true....

I would really appreciate if anyone could tell me what what capacitors are those … I just bought an iphone 6s from a girl and i just found out that screen flicker when brightness is below 80% and goes completely dark below 25% brightness… Should problem be from this capacitors i found damaged? Chosen Solution A friend brought me her iPhone 5 to fix the screen after it got smashed, i followed iFixit’s steps and got the screen replaced no problem. However, a certain part of the screen wasnt working and after many more takings apart I couldnt get it working properly, I did realize that when the iphone was left flat for a while it started working in the section. So i bought another digitizer and replaced it again, just to have the same section of the screen not working....

Chosen Solution My iPhone 7 screen keeps clicking when you press on it. I knew the screen wasn’t sitting in tightly so I tried to apply waterproofing adhesive TWICE and failed both times resulting in my screen breaking internally, so no cracks on surface only on the inside, and tearing one of the screen connectors which brings me to the 3rd screen I’ll have to buy. Anyone have some tips on how I could manage to apply the adhesive properly or have any alternatives?...

Chosen Solution Hi guys, I have an iPhone 7 here. Dead, won’t turn on. Upon testing, I found the pp_vdd_main line is shorted. Using freeze spray, I noticed that coil L3704 on the chestnut line is the first to melt. After removed the the coil L3704, vdd_main was no more shorted, every cap on vdd_main was back to normal. However, after a new coil L3704 was installed, vdd_main became shorted again....

Today a client came in with a iPhone SE and told me that his phone blacked out yesterday. he had some battery problems and the phone will not turn on anymore, I changed the battery and i still get black screen. I try to put the phone in recovery mode, and apperantly the phone still works. The problem is that the phone is black out even i try to change the screen also....

Chosen Solution I’ve had four customers call in as many days all have upgraded to 10.7.1 and all report problems with iPhoto. They go to open it the first time, it crashes and then fails to appears in the Applications folder. All machines have the latest updates. I know a couple of them had iLife ‘11 installed. Does anyone know about this problem or have a fix? How is it in 10....
