Chosen Solution This iPhone is water damaged. I soaked it in alcohol and got it working, but now it crashes if it’s on for more than a few minutes. It also won’t charge over 3%; I suspect it needs a new U2 chip. The home button is bad but it might be the cable in the back light, it’s happened to me before. Chosen Solution The phone got damaged in the top corner at the back, then it was in a packsack and it rained, so dampness may have gotten in as it did not work after taking it out of the packsack. Took it to a repair shop they replaced the battery and when charging it was hot and did not hold a charge. It was extremely hot., even around the edge. Any thoughts?...

Chosen Solution If I replace my iPhone 6s Plus battery will the system read it accurately? ie Battery health, no of charges, Maximum capacity etc? I replaced it with a less reliable battery (foolish) which is not really recognised by the phone as being legit. Some aftermarket batteries do not support the battery health feature in iOS. To have one that does, another battery would have to be put in either one that is original or a higher quality replacement battery....

The service personnel says that he can see some small rust bits on board (refer images below) and thinks water has damaged the part so the motherboard needs to be replaced and it will cost ~ $460. Chosen Solution Hi, I purchased an iPad 4 recently and when viewing the screen I can see two thin rectangular areas of white light bleeding through under the top bar, one in the very top-left corner and one three quarters of the way along. Is this screen defective? The iPad seems to work, and the screen itself displays ok, but the lights are distracting, especially when viewing the screen at an angle, such as when it used on a flat table etc (and especially when the screen is darker)....
Chosen Solution After a reboot yesterday my 2010 Mac Mini A1347 no longer boots, after power on I get the Apple logo then a kernel panic. Things I’ve tried that didn’t work. Disconnected everything, left then powered on. Reseated RAM (1 stick) Swapped RAM slots Connected to another Mac via Target mode and formatted the disk with a bootable image of Snow Leopard. Booted holding Option, selected disk image. Still panics....

It’ll start off okay on the Sierra OS side, and then start lagging terribly. I then struggle to shut down the computer because moving the mouse and clicking becomes very sluggish. Absolutely do not have this problem on the Windows 7 part of the hard drive....
Chosen Solution my laptop died because my power cord messed up, so i got a new one yesterday and now my laptop starts but, its has a gray screen with a white apple sign. so i put in the restore CD and when i tried to reinstall the OS it asks me to select the destination however there is nothing there to select. Chosen Solution My lens cover won’t seem to open and close like it used to. This prevents me from taking pictures quickly because I always have to check to see if the lens cover is open, or not. I can force it open by hand, but wonder what I need to do to fix this problem? It sounds like the springs in your lens cover may be out. If the lens stay open after you force them open, and don’t bounce back into place, then it’s most likely that your springs are broken or disconnected from the lens....

Chosen Solution I have an aluminum 13’ MacBook (A1278) which all of a sudden developed a 1.5’ wide vertical inverted, flickering, and interlaced strip running uniformly down the screen. There wasn’t any associated drop or other damage to the computer that preceded this. Of note, the left edge of the strip starts exactly at the midline of the screen and extends 3.5 cm to the right -> I’m hoping this might indicate it’s a loose cable responsible for carrying the signal to that specific real estate of the screen....

When inserting my BOOST SIM card which is operated on the Telstra network the phones work fine. I want to use a SIM from a different provider but the phones come up with: Phone Freeze SIM unavailable please contact service provider. I tried this new SIM in another phone and it is activated and works fine....

Being an Aerospace engineer in my opinion these creaks were found due to stress because of load impact. that is a drawback of this machine.
