Chosen Solution Hey I recently bought a used macbook pro 13" mid 2010. The device does not boot of a bootable usb that I created of OS X Yosemite using a perfectly functioning 2011 macbook pro. Ive tried holding down the option key, it detects the usb and starts to boot but just stops when the loading bar underneath the apple logo gets near a quarter of the way. Cheap part to be honest and no soldering required as it’s on a ribbon with a fpc connector.
