Chosen Solution My mbp can run on power adapter and charges the battery, amber light, and green when completely charged. But when I remove the charger the mbp dies. The leds on the side indicate the battery is charged. I can’t see any problems on the logic board but don’t know exactly where to look. Can I check something on the logic board that is damaged? Update (03/30/2019) No problem with the battery....
Chosen Solution When I plug my charger in it quickly blinks amber and then goes out and will not charge the battery. The first battery charge indicator LED blinks green suggesting it needs a charge. I have used working battery and charger from the exact same model (Mom’s), with the same results. I’m practicing to solder capacitors on my old motherboard so this are my observations. soldering lead not sticking to capacitor leg.when soldering, there is a liquid like forming around the bottom of motherboard where I solder . Something like evaporating heat from soldering? (motherboard color turning brown ) Is it okay? And what’s the difference between soldering flux and soldering paste? I ask the local store where they only have the soldering paste not the flux and he said its to make better connection to the electrical component....

Chosen Solution so my “r” key usually doesn’t work, I have to press it a bunch of times then it’ll work and some times it does two r’s “rr”. I usually wipe my keyboard with a some what dry clorox wipes and I had some dirt around that area so I wipes for a minute there. But this was a week ago and my r key has been giving issues for just the past two days....
Chosen Solution So i replaced rear case (housing), display and rear camera on a iPhone 8 for a customer. The phone worked great for a couple of days, the problem now is that the camera stops working together with the flash. This was a problem she was experiencing before my repair though. Anyways, i ordered the sidebutton flex and a new camera once again, but when she got in with the phone for repair the camera and flash was suddenly working again after i had unplugged the battery and then connected it back together....
Chosen Solution My iphone 4 screen has gone black, but the phone is still working. I had the screen replaced last spring and it’s been working fine since then. Chosen Solution Hi, I was replacing the battery on my phone and the white adhesives broke, so I had to slowly pry. However, the plastic prying tool accidentally bent the battery too much and it starting hissing and blowing smoke everywhere. It eventually caught on fire but I was able to quickly push the battery into a fireproof container without doing much harm to the room. The battery was pushed off the phone within 5 seconds of it catching fire so I was wondering if the logic board or other circuits on the phone was damaged....

If you really need to find out, remove the back panel from your TV and check the power board. It will tell you right on there if it is a 110/240V
Chosen Solution I fix phones for a living. I ordered two buttons for a couple of clients (iPhone 8 and iPhone 7) at the same time. Then I found out that the iPhone 8 button would not be replaceable by myself. (Thanks, Apple!) So I sent the iPhone 8 button back to where I ordered it and got a refund. Or so I though. It turns out that I sent the iPhone 7 button back by mistake and now I’m left with an iPhone 8 button that has to be fitted to an iPhone 7....

Chosen Solution iPhone came in with error 4014. Tried several computers and cables restoring first. Measured the voltages according to schematics and they all had value. I reballed the NAND and it gave me the same error. Checked the pads underneath and non were missing/damaged. Placed another NAND from an icloud board and still the same error. I searched online and some say it could be BBPMU which I also replaced....

What I mean by it wont really spin is that it turns 1/4 of the way and stops… wait about another minute or so and it might turn another 1/4. Chosen Solution Whenever I click the earpiece/face id flex, the phone keeps rebooting but when it’s unclipped and power on it boot. It appears you may have damaged the flex. It could be a small tear or bend that is under tension when the assembly is clipped in place or it could be that the flex is scratched and grounding out on the case. Take a close look at the condition of the flex, preferably with magnification to see if there is anything you can see....

I press it down all the way and the receiver lights up but pressing it half way down gives me nothing so I can’t even use the trigger at all. How should I go about fixing this?
