Chosen Solution Hi there, today i replaced the “back cover” on my iphone 3g, but then when I try to turn it ON it starts normally and after about 10 seconds it shuts down and won’t start again. Then I have unplug it from the battery, assamble again and it turns ON and again OFF after 10 seconds. Any idea what i might done wrong! it sounds like a power problem , either connection for battery isn’t good-recheck the prongs to the battery haven’t been flattened ,contacts are clean and that screws above battery are in correctly....

Chosen Solution This iPod charges, and syncs to iTunes. But when it is turned on, it displays a sad iPod icon. If it is turned on after that, it comes on normally, you can navigate through it. Yet, when you try to play music, the count stays at 0:00. I believe the headphone jack is okay because when inserting and removing headphones, the play/pause icons in the corner changed. When you try to fast forward in the song, it still does not play....

Chosen Solution Ok been using website to troubleshoot ipod given to me by friend. At startup I’m gettin the sad ipod contact support icon. Using apples, and this site troubleshooting still leaves some question. After a reset, and hard reset no response. Tried going into disk mode just get same icon. Apple said disk mode is easier for software download. Have checked battery, harddisk, and logicboard connections. Even pulled ribbons out examined and reattached checking for solid connection....

Chosen Solution The LCD FPC Connector on the logic board is broke due to some broken gold pins. I’m wondering if any computer repair shop or tech repair can repair it or will I have to see a professional? Replacing that small connector requires fine soldering tips and some experience in working efficiently in such a small scale. However, I believe every reputable shop in component level repair in PC, Mac or smartphones should have sufficient skills and tools for such a repair that requires dexterity but not specific diagnostics....

Since you have a menu screen, you should be able to set it up in a basic picture mode....

Chosen Solution Aroma AWK-125S Electric Kettle A while ago myAroma electric kettle from target stopped working- if I flip the switch the light powers on, but it does not heat the water. I’m presuming the heating element has failed- does anyone know anything about taking apart kettles and obtaining/replacing the components? The other 3 screws seems fine.
