Chosen Solution Hi Guys, this is the second time this has happened to me, I changed the charging port on a Galaxy s3 i9300 which went well, I re-soldered a new charging port onto the mother board using my scope and checked visually and with my meter to ensure there were no shorts between the contacts, tested the phones functions and everything worked perfectly. However; within 24h the client has informed me the mic has stopped working and during calls the other person can’t hear them speaking....

Chosen Solution slid ipod in my back pocket and pulled it back out and the screen is blank and wont turn on…it had a full battery…ipod touch 32g 4g try a reset in case it’s frozen or not responding. Try a soft reset first: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on the top of the unit until a red slider appears Drag the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears....

Chosen Solution Is it possible to replace a home button, where could i buy one also? Thank you The iPhone 7 has an all electronic button. There is no physical actuator anymore so both the “click” and TouchID functions are embedded in the electronics of the Home Button Flex. So while you can purchase a replacement button, it will not do anything but “fill the hole”. If the problem with the HB is the click function (TouchID still works), then that can be repaired via a micro-soldering repair....

Chosen Solution frame on my 91 Toyota pickup is rusted pretty bad. I want to either fix the existing frame or find a frame that is comp[atible @backwoods0121 the only frame that will fit your truck is a frame made for it. Time to get some steel and a welder and do the repair.

Chosen Solution My Razer Cynosa’s spacebar isn’t working. After a lot of trying out I finally found this connector directly conencted to the spacbar on the board. It seems that it is just not connected and therefore there can’t be any input from my spacebar. Now the question obviously is, if there is a way to fix this by myself. Chosen Solution I want to use the iPhone backlight panel as a readily available and cheap custom light source. With iPhone 4 backlights this was easy, as they only have 2 pins and when you apply 20V at 20mA they will light up beautifully. But now I want to use the bigger iPhone 6 (or 6s) backlight with 3 pins. Can somebody please point me to a datasheet or give me information on these pins....

Chosen Solution I replaced the rear case and screen. The problem now is that the battery (original) seems abit puffy. So the battery is pushing the screen out on the left side of the screen. Im not sure what to do .. change the battery to a new or is all batteries like that .. in that case what do i do?? If the battery is puffed up then replace it quickly and dispose of it carefully as it is a fire risk....

I wish to be aware of the exact location of the battery as :after checking out the manual for different models the design is different . making the disassembly and repair troublesome . Chosen Solution My macbook spontaneously died two years ago, it wouldn’t charge, the magsafe green light wouldn’t turn on when plugged into the computer, so I waited until I could get a new battery. I recently got a new battery, I installed it pretty easily, and it turned on, it had a residual 12% charge on the new battery! I decided to charge the battery because it was low, but when I did, almost immediately after plugging it in (the magsafe green light lit up for the first time since it died years ago), it started to smoke near the charging port–then it shut off and the screen turned black....

Chosen Solution I tried every keyboard combination but it didn’t turned on. The fan is working but it doesn’t light up the Mac logo or the keyboard. interestingly if I connect a phone it charges. I tried to disconnect the battery, the SSD and the LCD. But it didn’t worked. Give this a shot. Disconnect the battery and Mag-safe adopter. Press and hold the power on button for ten seconds. Chosen Solution Hi guys, Recently my MB started to recharge intermittently. When i connect my laptop to the power supply the led randomly change from orange to green while the screen changes its brightness and, as a consequence of this, my battery gets recharged intermittently. I thought that it was due to the cable of the magsafe power supply but there aren’t any damages along it. However the problem is visible when the device is used, because when it’s off or in standby mode the led is orange until the battery is full charged, then it normally turns green....

Chosen Solution Hi, bought a used ps4, which has been tried to swap hdmi. but i see it missing smd. someone who knows where i get these and what the value on these are.? I don’t know the value of these. They are capacitors though and while it’s probably best to have them there it will work just fine without them. The only place I know to get them is off of a dead PS4 motherboard....
