Chosen Solution Fixing a liquid-spill victim from an employee… the antenna cable connections were stuck to the airport card. Unfortunately, despite careful removal, the end connections came off from the cables. Can those be repaired? I’d REALLY like to not have to remove (and probably damage) the LCD just to have a working wifi/bluetooth signal. Any input is appreciated. Chosen Solution Hey there, I have an iPhone 6 that stopped booting suddenly. Upon inspection under the microscope I noticed that C0633 is missing, is this needed for the iPhone to boot? C0633 alone is not required for the iPhone 6 to boot. But if the line it comes from is faulty it will indeed stop the phone from booting as it is the main NAND power rail.

Chosen Solution I saw some thermal pads on the N8’s mid-plane. Now my phone will auto-restart and continue restart when the phone is in warm environment but it will be all right if getting it directly under an aircond. So, I was thinking will apply thermal paste helps this. Thanks. Sounds like that’d work, there’s a similar issue with older HP laptops which only have thermal pads and then overheat and continually restart- the solution is to apply thermal paste....

Chosen Solution I have a core 2 Duo MacBook late 2007 version, is there a possibility of upgrading it so that I can download & use the latest Mac OS X version. I cannot upgrade the software beyond Snow Leopard. Your system should be able to support the newer OS’s (most of the Core 2 Duo systems are 64bit clean). Don’t forget to upgrade your current apps as well here (if they are 32bit)....

Chosen Solution I am replacing the hard drive on my 2011 iMac as it has an issue during the latest system upgrade. Do I put a version of the old operating system into new hard drive before installing into Mac? I have an external hard drive as back up by the way. Any help would be awesome. Chosen Solution Picture is watchable but have started getting lines. Makes picture look “hazy”. Doesn’t extend all the way to top. Replacement t-con (used) improved it to this. @jimgmaker that looks like an issue with the LCD driver board (for all intent and purposes) that is a part of the panel. Since you already changed the T-Con board, your next step would be to check all the ribbon cables to make sure that they are seated right and clean all the connectors....

Chosen Solution I have a Kenmore 795.7940 refrigerator and the vents to the fridge keep freezer over. The coils in the back of the freezer are not frosted over so it seems like the defroster is working? There is a panel of five lights in the fridge (to set temp) that are also used as error codes. The last three lights are lit when the first two are out which indicates “Failure of Fan Motor at Freezer Compartment”....

Replaced water filter, purged 5 gallons, fridge still warm and no water dispensing Ordered evaporator fan, waited about 2 weeks, replaced, fridge temp fine, and water dispensing now, but kind of slow Just noticed the leak 4 days after replacing evaporator fan....

Chosen Solution My son’s Kindle Fire 7 Kids Edition is not charging properly. The battery died and kindle turned off. I plug it in to charge, it indicates it is charging, then the kindle powers on. the Kindle shows 1% battery but suddenly it is not charging anymore. And it does not indicate that it is connected to the charger. I left it plugged in overnight, but it did not charge - it only indicates 1% battery....

Chosen Solution my laptop, Hp laptop 2000-2b09wm, had gotten wet nothing major. It was working just fine I turned it off after I wiped it and put it on the side. The next day I go to use it the screen won’t turn on. I unplugged the charger and took out the battery. Then tried holding the power button for a minute. I plugged in the charger only then pressed the power button I can see my wifi button light up but couldn’t hear the fans or computer start up....

Chosen Solution Hello! My TV recently turned off the backlight. Sound works and with the flashlight I can see the picture. I pulled out the power cord, after a few hours I tried again, worked fine, after about 5 minutes the backlight turned off again, the sound is fine and the flashlight test too. I noticed that if I let it be without power cord around 24 hours, the light will work for about 10 or 15 minutes before it turns off....

Chosen Solution Hi! I just bought a “refurbished” mid-2012 15” 2.3 GHz A1286 Problems with the left screen hinge loose, and random crashes and freezes, more frequent on moving. Opened up the case, dug down, found, in addition to loose hinge screws, the antenna/cable retainer missing an 8.6mm screw and ground tab floating loose. Where can I get the screw? I temporarily “borrowed” one from the Airport/Bluetooth assembly. Thanks so much, everyone!...

Chosen Solution My Kenmore 110. 20702 991 top load washing machine is making a loud clicking noise during the agitation cycle. I have narrowed down the noise to the area beneath the washtub. There are many components here, gearbox, motor, pulley, pumps, etc. Lights connected to the same power outlet dim at the same rate and time as the clicking noise. Spin cycle, filling cycle, etc are unaffected, just agitation has this issue....

But i don’t know what to write there to be able to go to recovery mode again. When i go to recovery i see the globe but after the indicated time is finished the screen turns to white. Chosen Solution Hi, Probably my a1184 power adapter has broken my macbook unibody a1278, since when I connect it to the magsafe, no led light on the connector (neither green or ambra) but It powers on (if the battery has charge) and, with the power adapter connected, It works from the wall energy but It doesn’t charge the battery (in fact macbook show “not charging” message). A technician (Apple Premium Reseller) told me that I’ve to replace my Logic Board (480 € of charge) but Can It be instead the DC IN card (that costs lower… sorry but I don’t trust him)?...

Chosen Solution I recently spilled beer on my laptop (Early 2013 15’ Macbook Pro Retina), resulting in some corrosion on the connection between the logic board and the top case/keyboard. I soaked it in iso alcohol and removed the corrosion with a fine brush. After putting it together, it works fine (as far as I can tell)! Unfortunately, when re-assembling the laptop, I broke the retaining flap on the right fan ZIF socket....

Chosen Solution Hi everyone, so I’ve got old iPhone 11 that I want to give it to my father, unfortunately phone had a hard life (had screen replaced three times, rear housing once, as well after last screen replacement there is information that Face ID is not Available - I’m assuming cable was damaged somewhere, but I don’t care about Face ID), I managed to get a genuine housing with all small parts and battery as well genuine screen, someone just removed the motherboard and sold the rest....
