Chosen Solution I have a 2011 MacBook Air A1370, with a keyboard and track pad issue. The keyboard and track pad freeze whenever I try to use them no matter what I’m doing, even during startup, making the laptop completely unusable. However when I plug in an external keyboard and mouse (both bluetooth) I’m able to use the laptop completely fine with no issues at all. Or when I hold the laptop at a certain angle/tilt then it works fine as well....

Chosen Solution I have never dropped my laptop, nor had it gotten any water damage. The screen used to flicker black and back (the backlight that is) over a year ago and a simple restart or tilting it slightly usually fixed it. Recently it completely stopped working and used an external monitor to do my work. One day I randomly decided to open it open and found that the display was working as per normal and I was careful to not tilt it at all and it worked....

Chosen Solution After replacing my iPhone lcd screen the other day post smash it has become problematic. Sometimes the phone selects buttons I’m no where near, sometimes it’s as if the screen is dead (on but non responsive), sometimes the scroll goes bananas and starts flicking up and down pages. It will be fine for a min or two after locking and unlocking the phone but will always default back to crazy mode....

Chosen Solution After several years of very successful use, my multifunctional device slowed to a snails pace when printing anything. It takes over 4 minutes, for example, to print a test page. Chosen Solution Have purchased the lightning connector kit and removed my old one, now installing the new one. I just can’t get that dog gone antenna cable connected to the socket. I worry I’ve broken it, but it LOOKS like it’s intact. Unable to tell. Any secrets to getting that connector attached? I usually hold just below the head (the actual connector) with tweezers, align it and then apply pressure with another fingernail....

Chosen Solution My Mac ran out of battery one day and when I charged it up again and tried to boot it, it gets stuck on the apple logo. I’ve tried to boot to safe mode to which my computer does not respond and I’ve also tried to reset the NVRAM. I do hear the second chime but after that it goes back to the apple logo and loading bar and remains stuck....

Chosen Solution I have just replaced the HDD with a new and improved SSD. All of the research that I did before making this move suggested the computer would run cooler. Although it does not seem to running any hotter it most definitely does not seem any cooler. I also upgraded the RAM to 8 GB. Is this just normal for the older models or is this an indicator that I need to be looking for other things to fix?...

I have a very good heat adjustable soldering station already, the tip is very small but not small enough, I usually use it to repair laptop DC jacks and have successfully completed a number of iPhone 4 & 4S battery connector clips. Chosen Solution Hello, I am trying to refurbish an iPhone 8 and during continuity testing on the Soundboard Port (Circled in red) I received these readings as apposed to the usual “001”: It averaged 1944 ohms when the red wire is north on the port, however it averaged 552 ohms when the red wire was south on the port I have tested the Battery, Screen and everything else and it all seems to be fine apart from this one port....

I am trying to avoid separating the two board layers if possible because it is a pain to get back together and may not be necessary. The phone is doing a 3 second boot loop. I have tried to turn it on with only essential components plugged and I have frankensteined new hardware in order to rule out hardware issues....

Chosen Solution My iPod Classic will not play further than the first 25 songs when plugged into the car and then it starts over on a loop. It used to be just fine. And it works fine with the headphones. I did a complete reset and reloaded all the music but it still refuses to go past the first 25 songs. What happens is if I plug anything into it and touch the connection the wrong way, the device will disconnect and will not work again until it is plugged in again.
