So this time, when I try to connect the new battery, I hear a sizzling sound coming from somewhere. I did get alcohol everywhere to remove the battery, but even after a few hours it still sizzles....

Chosen Solution Hi, do you guys know if A1398 2015 MBR SSD is compatible to the A1419 iMac 27" late 2013 ? The problem you face here is more than the physical blade SSD’s interface. Apple also has its own custom firmware on these SSD’s and some won’t play even though they are the same SSD. You might want to talk with OWC to see if their new SSD will work here....
Chosen Solution I recently bought a defective aluminum Apple Wireless Keyboard for experimentation. Model A1314 with Dashboard key on F4 Some keys spread over the whole keyboard did not work. I put it in the dishwasher (with soap and rinse aid at 45°C for 40 minutes) and rinsed it generously with isopropyl alcohol while it was still hot after the wash. I did all of that and got the SSD in, however whenever I went back into the computer it was saying “No battery is detected” I thought maybe I just didn’t put it back on properly so I went back and wiggled it a alittle bit but still the same thing when I opened the computer....

The most bothersome are botched repairs that cause broken connectors and broken components. It seems like whenever iOS updates, you are running into user errors which are not hardware related.

Chosen Solution Used the kids mode to see what it did. Now I can’t remove it. Can you help me? Do you have access to settings? If so, go to settings>apps>kids mode>disable or force stop. Then reboot phone. If you can’t access settings, you must start in safe mode. Once you’ve done that, you will have access to settings. Now you can do the above. Hope this helps! To get out of safe mode, reboot your phone....

Turning off the monitor and waiting a minute before turning it on again, would make it work for a bit. Now the backlight wont come back on, but I can still see the picture although it is really dark. Chosen Solution i soldered new right and left switches on my mouse, now only the right click works, i have tried difrent switches and it still wont work, it might have somthing to do with that thing peeling? Managed to put a jumper wire on the trace, and that fixed it, jankiest job ever tho 😂 Seems like the board track is damaged. You need to check with a meter and make a jumper on it....
