Chosen Solution I’m a repair guy and I got this late 2016 A1708 into repair with strange behavior problem. Came in for repair as no boot. No liquid damage. When I press the power button, the screen backlight turns on, but nothing else happens (CPU gets warm). If I disconnect battery and prompt it to boot via charger, there is a charger insertion sound every time, then backlight turns on, no image, and it’s clearly not booting (more symptoms below)....

Chosen Solution I have an iPhone 5C it works perfectly but I noticed that when I apply just the lightest amount of force and twist the phone the screen starts to glitch but as soon as the pressure goes away it returns to normal. An iPhone X from a client keeps rebooting once in a while and after the reboot the battery % in the upper right corner is gone, the battery capacity indicator in settings will show — (unavailable ). In past cases this seems like a defective battery but the weird part is that in this case it also still boots up and charges regularly but only goes into this ‘‘defective’’ mode in some instances....

Chosen Solution My Ipod is locked for 21 Million + minutes and i dont have access to the original computer i used to link it to itunes. I know i have to resync it to itunes to do it and it was caused by the battery draining. s there any way i could still fix it. Put it in DFU mode then restore it -connect it to a computer with itunes -Hold Power Button and Home button till ipod shuts off -count to 3 exactly, i use the thousands method -after 3 seconds....

Chosen Solution So… I’ve got this 2015 iMac after years with my 2011 and the screen is beautiful but this feels like a much more limited machine without an SSD (which I’ll upgrade so that’s for later) and one of the shortcomings is the lack of IR receiver. Thanks in advance. Short answer: No Long answer: The problem with upgrading your graphics card is it is soldered to the motherboard. If you were super confident, found the exact same pin arrangement on another graphics card, and were able to desolder the old one and resolder the new one without breaking anything then it would theoretically work....

Chosen Solution Last night i was rushing through some last minute homework when disaster struck. I spilt juice all over my laptop. I immediately flipped the laptop upside down to let it drain but foolishly i did not turn it off :/ None the less after leaving it to drain for around 30 minutes and wiping it down it seemed to work perfectly fine…until i turned it off…and it would not turn back on again....

Chosen Solution I’ve looked at some online info and we pulled the mixer apart. It is knocking but still turns. The sound is coming from the gears. I am assuming it is the worm gear but everything looks ok. Do I replace the whole worm gear or could it just be a bushing?!? Could it be something else? Hi @rnco , How much “play” is in the worm gear or in the drive gear?...
