Chosen Solution Repair failed. iPhone 8 will not power up. I took it to a professional repair facility who confirmed I had done everything correctly. They swapped out the display and the battery but the iPhone is still dead. Unfortunately, I forgot to back it up before replacing the battery so all photos are lost :( Any suggestions will be appreciated. If it still will not power up after trying with a new battery and/or a new display it sounds like something happened in the course of repair regarding the logic board....

Chosen Solution I purchased a 16gb iphone 4S on Ebay. (I have my ebay invoice to prove it). When powered on, the screen says “iphone disabled” & " swipe for emergency". I have tried multiple time to restore the phone by connecting to itunes without any luck. It takes forever (over an hour) & then I get a message stating that there was an error or an interuption (no interuptions should be occurring)....

Chosen Solution So I recently installed a glowing Apple logo in my iPhone 6s Plus. While trying to remove the old one with a hair dryer I smelled something burning so I stopped. I got the logo installed and now the iPhone will work for about 3 minutes then reboot. It’s always three minutes which is weird. It wasn’t doing this before so could it be the Apple logo, the battery, or have I damaged the motherboard?...

Chosen Solution Hey guys, Getting into iPhone oled screen restorations but found that I can buy all the bits (glass, digitiser, polariser, oca, frame etc) except for the actual bit that gives image and picture (oled panel). Can someone that does it tell me if it’s not able to be purchased? Issue I’m having is some screens I have are showing green or white lines running up and down, normally either white or green, or the oled shows no image at all....

Chosen Solution Macbook Pro 15” Late 2013 2.3Ghz. It was stupid of me to take this so lightly. I had a small partition that I had made in my boot camp windows 8.1 that I wasn’t using. So I used mini partition tool to merge that and the bootcamp drive, it asked me to restart and I did. Well it completed the process and rebooted, but it doesn’t load up. The initial music plays and then it plays a a very tiny clip of that music and stays stuck on a black screen with no errors; sort of like when a game freezes and the music clips and loops....

Chosen Solution I have 2015 MacBook Retina 12” with some thin horizontal flickering lines on the screen. I do not see them when I connect my MacBook to external monitor. I can sometimes get rid of them when I push on the screen near right bezel when moving screen back and forth. Could it be just a flex cable connecting CPU board to the screen? Chosen Solution Hey there, my MBP stopped working propperly, beause of a short-cuircuit. Since then only th ports on the right site send signals. On the left side nothing works at all (no charging, no usb, no sound). These are all things that get their power supply from the left-IO-board. Even the Power-Adapter and the Battery got f****d. Since that day the touchpad aswell doesnt work at all. My question is, if it make s any sense of getting L-IO-Board , beacuse i couldnt find out if the touchpad gets the power from there too…....

Chosen Solution I am not sure that the EU 126003-4 kit is compatible With all iPhone 5c since it’s said that it’s compatible with all iPhone 5c but it’s not compatible With iPhone SE, 5 and 5c. So i dont understand if it’s OK for my A 1507. Thanks you for the anwser. Guillaume. I have no idea what part you are talking about, but never the less it’s compatible anyway as all 5c parts are compatible with another 5C....

Chosen Solution A few days ago a friend of mine borrowed my very old DSI, and when she gave it back to me I noticed the top screen was completely white. The bottom screen worked fine, but the top screen remained white for as long as I had it on. (She said it would fix itself sometimes but I think she just broke the screen and doesn’t want to admit it) so I took it apart to see if the ribbon cable had come out, but when I put it back together I noticed that it would turn on for just a moment, the bottom screen would flash white and then it would turn itself off....

Chosen Solution In particular I want to make sure my screen cable is correctly connected (as the screen is flickering) however I can’t find a teardown for this laptop. Hi @becbennett , Have you tried connecting an external monitor to verify that the problem is somewhere in the laptop’s video cable / LCD screen area and not in the motherboard for example? Chosen Solution I had problems with my iPhone like little lines on the screen when I would turn it on the home screen and sometimes I was unable to even put my passcode or typing would be really hard. The screen was not responsive. I decided to open the phone perhaps the connection was weak or something because that is what I read online about vertical lines so when I reconnected and tested it before putting it back, everything was fine....

I have recently acquired the Mid-2010 MacBook Pro and its my first MacBook Ive owned - so I don’t know comparisons or if things are normal whereas I would a normal windows PC.. Its running quite hot - from what I can see in comparisons with windows PCs, or what I would see to be ‘optimal’ for idling and basic tasks....

Chosen Solution My first ipod classic i had had the battery connector snap off the logic board. I went ahead and bought another broken ipod classic off ebay, in hopes for the easy fix of the battery. When it came in the mail, I inspected it then opened it up to replace the battery with a new ipod classic battery i picked up. However, once I placed the cable into the connector, it immediately started to heat up and produce a smell like it was melting....

Chosen Solution I bought an iMac from a friend from late 2006. The max supported ram is 2gb at least that is what i found on the internet. If i would insert 2 x 2gb of ram would the pc just not work or not be effective at all? Just trying to find out of it has any use. Heard that sometimes it is possible to upgrade. Chosen Solution Iphone 6s plus has been under water, everything works perfectly but not the rear camera, ive tried to change it with a brand new one, the problem then is non of cameras working, and the back surface (camera surface) of phone gets a little hot? Help anyone? With water damage, you have to decontaminate the logic board before doing anything else, otherwise there will be latent issues down the road....

Chosen Solution I have a hp pavilion 17-e116dx that seems to be over heating, and the system comes up saying that the fan is not working properly. Does anyone know what part I need to order and a safe site I can get it from? It would also help if someone knew directions to get to the fan, although I could probably wing that, if needed. It should deliver 19V DC on the barrel connector. then check your DC-in port to make sure it is not bend, occluded with debris or otherwise damage....

Chosen Solution I have an IPhone 7 stuck in boot loop after screen replacement. I already tried to restore, didn’t work. Tested battery and the screen on a different phone and it works fine. The only way I am able to boot up the by disconnecting the screen assembly completely and iTunes will recognize the phone and it seem to work fine. How would you fix this issue? Try a new proximity sensor....

Chosen Solution hey i was wondering if somone has solved this issue before so ive repaired an iphone x for the store i work for screen and housing but i forgot to put a water indicator on the screen so i opened it and put it in 100x over and over but i still cant see it through the sim tray ? im puttin it in the correct place too ....
