Chosen Solution I’ve recently gotten two switches to try to fix for fun, and discovered that one is completely missing the internal button on the daughter-board that the “L” trigger is meant to push, and both are missing the one on the mother-boards for the “R” trigger.I’ve already found replacement buttons online, and assume I’ll have to solder them. I have some experience soldering, in that I own and know how to use a soldering iron, but have never actually used it on electronics....
Chosen Solution The cds are playing very good and dvd/mp3 discs are not playing when I insert the same, it got ejected. please let me know the defect @ssmurthy could be a dirty or failed laser lens. CD and DVD use different lenses. You can try to clean it of must consider replacing the laser lens assembly. If you can give us the complete model number we might find the right replacement instructions for you....

My aftermarket screen colour was dull washed and not too bright. My question is, if I have my logic board replaced to fix water damage. Is there any problem that could happen? Chosen Solution The microphone and earpiece on my microphone does not work. The camera is very laggy and does not capture videos. The SIRI also does not take voice input ( microphone issues). If I restart the phone however, the phone works fine for a few hours. The calls can be listened clearly and the SIRI also works fine. The camera is also very snappy after a restart. But then after 1-2 hours, the problem continues....

When I connected it through my computer, it started flashing the apple logo on and off. I tried to update it to ios9 (was at 8.4.1) but to no avail. Chosen Solution So I after i replaced the battery, it worked flawlessly. When it reached 27% the iPhone rebooted. After it turned on, while i was typing my passcode, it rebooted again. Then i plugged it in and it worked again. Faulty battery? Faulty battery. Get it replaced under warranty if you can. I’d say about 15% or higher is acceptable without turn off to Apple logo issue. I’ve seen some pretty well worn used batteries few years exhibit this issue....

Initially, for about 4 weeks it was working fine with out any issues at all. Last week it suddenly started resetting when it was charging. Chosen Solution I have a dead iphone. Managed the charge the iPhone externally, and itunes detects it in DFU mode, but the screen stays black. When I try to restore, it gets stuck on “waiting for iPhone”. Eventually getting error 4014 when unplugging. I have also tried flashing with 3uTools, but i get to 11% and “ERROR: Unable to switch DFU mode to Recovery Mode.” Any advice? Thanks. The phone shows unnatural behaviour such as randomly shutting off, attempting to reboot, however ends up boot looping. If you leave the phone for some time after the boot loop, it will turn on normally. Quite frequently, when playing games or doing anything that requires more ‘power’ from the cpu, the phone will become decently hot in the area of the motherboard....
