Chosen Solution Need help finding LCD screen samwhite971 these are almost impossible to find. First off a panel including the shipping of it will most likely cost more than a replacement TV. I would suggest that you either try and find the same model with different damage and harvest the screen from that. Check ebay or craigslist or whatever is used in your region. The only other way of trying to find the LCD is by searching for the panel based on the information on the label attached to the panel....

Chosen Solution Where power adapter plugs into the PowerBook has loosened over the years and is not charging the battery. How can I get this part replaced or do it my self. Yes you can replace the DC IN port. You probably don’t have to. Look at the AC plug in and note the outer metal sheild with the slit in it. As time goes by this can get spread open and it starts making incomplete connection with the wall of the DC IN port....

Chosen Solution how can i restore windows Get the appropriate windows disk for you OS then set your boot menu to boot from the optical drive . Once there select repair firs to see if your problem can be fixed that way if not then you will need to go to advanced and format the drive then reinstall windows. Make sure you have a valid oem key before starting . Hope this helps

Chosen Solution I just got my new 1TB SSD replaced the old 128GB in my system. Now the laptop won’t start anymore, even when returned the old one it won’t work either. There is no power at all! Update (05/11/2019) Update: i sent my MBP to Apple and they fixed the issue luckily at no cost since it is still under the one year warranty, received it today, and installed the new SSD successfully, i think i should have been more careful when disconnecting the battery, use only plastic tools, i might have shorted something by mistake....

Chosen Solution I recently upgraded my MB pro with an SSD to replace the old HDD. Everything worked fine, so I decided to replace the optical drive with a larger SSD for storage purposes. I started having problems with no drive being recognized at start up and just getting the folder with a question mark on it. Booting and holding Opt-i didn’t bring up any of the drives. I removed both drives and I’m able to boot the computer if they are connected as external drives using the Opt-i function on boot....

Chosen Solution After having had an issue with the original digitizer I replaced both digitizer and display - eventhough my original display had still worked perfectly (i had not succeeded to separate the digitizer from the display). I handled the new parts very carefully without applying any force to these parts. I just glued them together using double sided adhesive tape (which I applied on all 4 sides). Chosen Solution I know this is going to sound weird but I ordered a screen from 2 different suppliers for a Moto G6 Play and both replacement screens are 1mm too short. Everything lines up at the top and the shape is perfect but there is a gap at the bottom. The flex cables work and are a perfect match to the original. Anybody else have this issue? Chosen Solution I set up my iPhone to charge last night. It was on the plug for about 10 hours. Normally it’s on closer to 7, but I’ve had it on for longer, no problem. Woke up late today, checked my phone to see why the alarm didn’t go off, and all I got was a black screen. Chosen Solution Hey guys I have an iPhone 3G that when it’s not plugged in it will turn off after about 15-30 seconds of not being used and being in sleep mode. When it’s plugged in it doesn’t have this problem at all. Also, you can use it for as long as the battery will last without it having this problem. A little backstory on this device. Chosen Solution I recently replaced the screen of an iPhone XS - replacement went fine etc, all seemed to work. However, now the device doesn’t seem to charge. Connecting a lightning cable does nothing at all (charging or as a device when connected to a mac), and while placing the phone on a wireless charger shows the charging logo, it doesn’t actually charge. Checked multiple cables etc, cleaned the port etc....

If the charging part ( dock connector) was destroyed then the only way to fix it is by resoldering a new one....
