Chosen Solution My 2ds touchscreen works perfectly fine when I use my stylus, but not when I use my fingers. I got this 2ds from GameStop, premium refurbished. Could there be a screen protector I don’t know about or is this normal. Thanks! Because it is a resistive touch screen, it isn’t as responsive as a regular touchscreen. Resistive tend to respond well to small harder points, but not very well to fingers....

Chosen Solution Hi, I have a question: Is the lcd flex cable from the iPhone 7 compatible with the iPhone 8? I tested is working perfectly!! From what I’ve been able to tell looking at the connectors the LCD may be compatible but the digitizer is not. iPhone 8 LCD SCREEN install in iPhone 7, the phone works but touch function is not working. So it is not compatible. If you want to break your phone, put a 7 screen on an 8....

Chosen Solution Hi. I made my first chassis swap to my iphone. Everything works except the bluetooth. Wifi and gps work, bluetooth doesnt. No guide talks about the bluetooth antwnna. On ifixit they list [iPhone X Bluetooth Antenna component as a bluetooth antwnna but i honestly cant locate it and i didnt find it in my previous chassis. Where is it? Is it possible that its causing the issue? I correctly installed this piece though iPhone X Wi-Fi/Bluetooth Antenna which is regarded as a “bluetooth and wifi antenna” and wifi works… Thanks...

Chosen Solution So I have this ipod that is disabled and someone wants me to get it back to normal with the data that is on it. I know how to bypass the disabled part of it but I need to keep the data on it. Is there any way to do this? If you are running windows, you might give this a try. Plug in your iPod. This appears to be some exploit to remove an iCloud account from a stolen phone. Chosen Solution Hello everyone, My late 2011 MacBook Pro has come to an end. Even if right now is perfectly working when plugged to the charger. After shutting down, due to a completely discharged battery, I plugged the MagSafe in and try to turn it on. Nothing happened even after resetting PRAM and SMC. I unplugged and plugged the battery back in and it magically turned on, but the battery wouldn’t charge even if the charger was plugged in....

To swap the NFC from the old battery to the new battery : Note: take notice of the alignment of the NFC on the old battery before you remove it from the battery. The NFC is attached to the battery with adhesive. Just very carefully pull it off from the old battery and make it stick to the new battery with some 3M adhesive sticker....

Chosen Solution Kitchenaid Model Number KBRA22ERSS01 Freezer/Fridge both warm, powers on, touchpad shows temps of both compartments, but none of the buttons respond. Warm warning light flashing of course, and steady beep for temp alarm. Feels like compressor is on, but not very loud at all. According to manual, I should be able to change temps after plugging it in by pressing the + or - of either side but none of the buttons seem to work....

Chosen Solution Customer plugged it into a 220V outlet and brought it into our shop. The screen comes on but is very faint, most likely a backlight issue. We hooked up a new macbook air screen and it had the same issue. Could it be the backlight fuse or the backlight circuitry itself? If it is the backlight fuse we can replace it as we have a solder tech. I hope the motherboard does not have any other issues considering she plugged it into that outlet....

Chosen Solution Morning everyone, I’ve been given a HP Pavilion X360 Convertible laptop to look at that has had water spilt over it. Initially there were no lights and the laptop would not turn on at all. I performed a hard reset but no change. After leaving it overnight the laptop now shows an orange charging light when plugged in, with or without the battery connected. When you push the power button for about 10 seconds, the orange light goes out and the computer still does not start....

Chosen Solution So I went to replace the loudspeaker and lightning connector/headphone jack and everything was going really well and then it wouldn’t turn back on. No screws were left out, put back in the wrong spot, everything was fine, but still no dice. I fixed a 5c that was run over twice and turned on after the first try yet I can’t get this one to work. I thought it was the battery, so I replaced that also, but that wasn’t it....

Chosen Solution I had dropped my Iphone and now the sleep/lock button rarely works. I want to know what part needs to be replaced? Any info would be great. Thanks Replacing the headphone jack assembly should solve the issue. I know this is like two years late, but did replacing that work? Chosen Solution A friend asked me to check their MacBook Pro 17” Late 2011, because it totally stopped powering on (no power indicator and fans are not working). I was able to turn it on, by using another adapter / charger and replaced the RAM sticks, but there is no display. I can only hear the chime and the fans spinning/ I also see the display’s backlight turn on then off again, so I tried to shine a bright flashlight to see if its just the backlight that’s broken, but I can’t see anything....

Chosen Solution I accidentally spilled some water inside through the fan area. Mac was closed and in sleep mode sitting on the table. A glass of water spilled from the back side and some went straight in through the back corner from below the black hinge. Anyway i tried what i could to get the water out, and also tried to boot cause when i looked, my mac had turned off....

Chosen Solution Please help I have tried everything! My MacBook Air won’t charge even though the light on the charger stays green, it doesn’t charge when plugged in. I have replaced the battery, the DC-in board and the logic board. Tried SMC reset multiple times with no avail… just the same problem. No idea what else to try?! Update (06/06/2020) Ok. So my Mac stopped charging, the charger light would turn green when plugged in to the Mac but it would report as not charging and the battery would continue to go down....

The laptop was in mint condition, from what I ascertained, with only 50 power cycles. Now it has roughly 550 power cycles at roughly 83% battery capacity. There is plenty of disk space. This laptop doesn’t have water damage or physical damage. I have encountered no issues up until this point....

Chosen Solution I have a 17” MacBook Pro from Mid 2009. The previous owner removed the hard drive, so all I really have to do is reinstall OS X El Capitan. When I boot up, hold option, and select the USB flash drive, the Apple logo appears. A progress bar appears shortly after before the screen goes black and the computer turns off. My flash drive is detected in my Mac Mini, and all of the contents of the installer are there....

I remember that the battery percentage was only 4 or 5 % before it shut down by itself. after the mbp was shut down, I press the power button immediately and the mbp was still be able to turn on and I saw the battery was only 4% and then turning off again. when I tried to plug the magsafe in, the magsafe adapter shows green light and I disconnect the magsafe....
