Chosen Solution I spilled some liquid on my MacBook Pro 14” and opened it to disconnect the battery and didn’t realize that the cable right above the battery screw had a latch that was meant to be lifted to remove the cable, didn’t seem to take much force to lift but now it seems to have no connection am I SOL at this point? If there was a spare part for the cable that seems to be the only thing messed up if I could manage to remove the piece still underneath the latch....

Chosen Solution Hey guys… I accidentally put too much pressure while soldering the logic board powerconector out. I tear down the pad also. Is there any possibility to fix this? That’s the battery connector and unfortunately the 2 SMC pads were lifted. Best thing would be to make jumpers to D6950 on flip side of the board and consolidate them with UV curable rosin.
Chosen Solution I have a Mac Mini that has been ‘freezing’ causing frequent hard restarts. Now it won’t boot at all, no Apple screen, sound, only the front light comes on. I have tried several restart options including holding power button while plugging power, also after start holding P,R,alt,cmd keys……… My hope is it is memory - not main board - I really need to salvage the data on HDD. Chosen Solution When I power up my MacBook, the chimes ring and a blank white/grey screen appears…there is no apple logo or anything. I can hear a noise which I assume is coming from either the hard drive or the dvd drive. After a few minutes, the noise subsides. There is a (SIMS 3) games dvd in the drive but I cannot eject it using the eject button on the keyboard....
