Chosen Solution Hi, Since this morning, the fan of my MacBook Air bought last year keeps making non stop sound. Restarted it several times and even turn it off for a while but still making that disturbing sound. Any tips to overcome it? Tkx for your help in advance. If dusting it out doesn’t fix it then your fans bearings are having problems and you likely need a new fan. As its likely still under warranty I would suggest just not doing anything and bring it to an Apple Store or authorized service center to get it done for free....

Chosen Solution There has been discussions and solutions to a slightly similar case where the screen goes black suddenly(keyboard back lights still on), fans go crazy for few seconds and then macbook shuts down. But, my case is different! All of a sudden the screen turns off (it’s different from “going black), keyboard back lights go off, the trackpad won’t work (there is no feedback/click feel). When I boot up: sometimes even before the bar below Apple logo gets filled, it turns off again....

Chosen Solution During OS(Big Sur) updation suddenly light goes off. After few minutes we have tried to powering on the machine then we have found machine is powering on but no display. We have replaced the RAM and Hard drive but problem not resolve.if any one have any solution Ouch! I suspect you where a bit too quick! During the OS and update processes your system will often appear off, in truth its just not able to display anything as the systems firmware (EFI) is being updated....

Chosen Solution Hello all, I have a Maytag MEDX655DW0 electric dryer. The dryer works fine when I use the timed setting but does not heat when I use the sensor dry setting. Could this just be a dirty or faulty sensor?

Chosen Solution My MBP 15" Unibody from okt 2008 started acting up again. I press the power button, the power light lights up for 3 seconds and the optical drive makes it’s typical startup noise… But after 3 seconds it just quits, completely powers off. After maybe 7 seconds the power turns on again, the Power light turns on but nothing more happens. I have to force quit by holding the power button for a couple of seconds to turn it off....

Chosen Solution Some time ago i dropped my iphone 5 and i saw no damage. But later I noticed the following things: I can’t use my microphone when I call using speaker. I can’t talk to siri. I can’t talk on messenger calls. I can’t talk on Teamspeak 3 app. Regular calling without speaker works fine. What speaker should I replace, or isn’t it broken and just loose because of dropping it?...

Chosen Solution I pulled out wifi card and system booted and ran for day. Turned it off and same problem with “FF” immediately showing on Motherboard and no signal to monitor. Any clue what’s wrong. It’s been running good for several years. Thank you for any suggestions Frank Suraci, I believe that the “FF” stands for fully functional and it means it is going to boot. I would look for the errors in a different place....

Chosen Solution Ok, might sound a bit odd. however I use a few different Linux and windows based self booting tools for working on fixing/diagnosing computers……… I was wondering if i could partition (s) a large USB flash drive and install my bootable tools, with some kind of bootloader…….including a PartPE image……. and of course a menu (like grub etc). anyway thought i would ask since it is something i have been looking to do for awhile, just have not found anyone else that has done this…....

Chosen Solution I have iphone 8 plus with the back right corner frame broken and i get really bad signal i did test and when im getting decent signal( 2 to 3 bars) my download speed is normal but my upload speed is super low like .30 to .80 speed I have an iphone 7 plus it works fine no issues with it i think my wifi antenna is affected by the back frame being broke...

Chosen Solution iPhone 3g 16gb Black i got an iphone from a friend and doesn’t show up at any computer. he said he just clicked “reset all settings”. iphone boots up with apple logo, nothing more.. and restarts itsef like every 5 mins. it charges when i connect to the computer but doesn’t show up at the computer i tried with different computers and cables, other iphones shows up at the computers but this one doesn’t....

Chosen Solution Heyyy there, My 2007 (80gb) macbook has just recently started to black-out. I’ve only used it (and probably the only reason I bought it) for the old GarageBand app, which I’ve managed to amass quite a number of tracks with. I’m told that due to costs I’d be better off buying a new one instead of fixing it. With the black-out I can’t use the mac and therefore want to transfer all the information to a newer model which, when I say newer, I mean a model made 2 to 5 yrs later, so ‘09-‘12....

Chosen Solution we just bought a new counter-top microwave to replace our old dead one & found that when in the exact same place, the new one is off-balance, rocks back’n’forth a bit. after discovering the little feet don’t screw/unscrew, we fixed this by putting a little pad under one of them. we just want to know if this is okay or not. we’re probably being overly paranoid, but am concerned the unit may be bent or something....

Chosen Solution I accidentally put my really old Intel processor in wrong in my really old Gateway 2000 P4D-66 and it started smoking from the CPU voltage pins. On closer inspection, the plastic jumpers had been melted to the pins and I was only able to get half of one of the jumpers to crumble off. They were on 5 volts. Also one of the pin holes on the socket was burnt and melted....

Chosen Solution I just bought this iphone 6 plus off of someone and afterwards realized there is a few red spots on the phone. You can only see the red spots when the phone is on, in a dark setting. For instance when the camera is on at night, you will see the red spots very obviously. But if the phone has a bright display, you will barely if not at all notice them....

It will only play region 2 DVDs if the player is already set to region 2 To find this out check the rear of the player for its’ region code setting information. Here’s an image that gives the relevant information. (click on image to enlarge for better viewing) There is information available online that shows how to hack the player to make it a region free player but I cannot confirm that they are safe to use or not....

Chosen Solution So I’ve owned my Macbook Pro since 2014 and it’s starting to overheat. There is barely any airflow at all, so I presume it’s filled with dust. I checked with a flashlight and the ventilation part is completely filled with dust. I read online to turn the fans up to max speed and let it blow some of it out; didn’t work. When I have my headphones on while listening to music and working, I let the fans spin at 5000 RPM so that it stays cool and hopefully blows out some dust....

Chosen Solution so my playstion just stop reading games and disk what should i do i cant pay any money how do i fix it i took it to best buy and game stop and they did nothing The only thing that you can make without spend money is to try clean the laser lens. It is unlikely but you can try.

Chosen Solution My Xbox had the cable box video set up on it and lightning hit and everything went out and now the picture on my Xbox doesn’t look right and I don’t know how to fix it . It still works and everything but the picture is small any help would be great if anybody has any ideas Is it stuck in low resolution mode? If yes it’s probably a HDMI chip / circuit fault....
