Chosen Solution How to identify the SMD component R1752 is a zero ohm resistor 1/32W in a 1005 package. A zero ohm resistor is usually used as a jumper link between two points. It is easier for the component insertion machine to place a component than to solder a jumper. For test purposes, I’d go ahead and use a small wire jumper. That component is a resistor called R1752. You can identify the component by using the Boardview and Schematic diagram for the iPad Mini 2....
Chosen Solution does any of the model a1181 white MacBooks have the touchpad like the macbook pros? i want to say that I’ve seen them but it might be for a different macbook model. i may be getting a 2008 a1181 macbook but my wife wants a mac with a touchpad similar to my 2011 macbook pro. i saw where the a1181 top cases are interchangeable with each other so i just wanted to see if i could just swap them out with the better touchpad....
Chosen Solution Hi all, I bought an iPhone 7 that came with no power, no charging issue, and without water damage. The phone was never opened and the board looks brand new. So I decided to look for the problem. After going with troubleshooting , and after pressing the power button, the phone was drawing around 0.6 Amps, but no shorts were found in all VCC lines (MAIN, BOOST, etc). In fact all the PP lines were with the right voltage values....
Chosen Solution The screen isn’t working but it is responsive to touch and if i press on the screen where the lcd connectors are then it shows the display and is responsive to touch along with 3d touch working as well. Is the connector just loose? Or is there any other problem. The phone was repaired previously and is hence opened. Sounds like you need to give that display cable a little push to connect it....
Chosen Solution I have a Tefal Pro Express Total steam iron, it was working fine however I smelt a burning smell and now Iron powers on fine but its not heating up. Any ideas what it can be? Chosen Solution Hi My laptop is not switching on, I have checked the power adapter and the battery and there are both working. I get the orange light when it’s charging and I get the blue light when it’s charged how ever when I switch it on nothing happens. What is the cause and how do I fix it?
Chosen Solution Replaced the front LCD assembly and the screen is on but I cannot swipe it or access anything. The phone also says searching. Any advice?? Re-check your connections. Try cycling the battery. Probably just bad parts
Chosen Solution My 2210 iMac won’t power up, so I have taken it apart, following the ifixit instructions for power supply removal. I don’t see anything inside that is obviously broken or burnt out. I am told by a Mac repairman that it is probably either a bad logic board or power supply. How can I test my power supply and/or logic board to see if they are functional? Thanks....
Chosen Solution Hi, My LG front loader washer would not go into the drain stage of the washing cycle. First there were noises coming from a drain pump, then it sat for a while and displayed OE error. No drain or spin happened. As many posts suggested, I checked the drain filter (it was clean), hoses and replaced the drain pump with a brand new one. I then tried Rinse+Spin and Speed Wash cycles with no clothes, to confirm that it got fixed, but to no avail....

I now have a macbook pro that is exactly like when I bought it. I deleted almost everything off it. It runs great, when it is plugged into the charger. The battery is fully charged. The laptop will run without the charger just exceptionally slow....
Chosen Solution My Mini is a stock mini 2.5 Core i5, 16GB RAM, and a Radeon HD 6630M, and has recently begun to restart randomly. Usually this occurs when left idle for ten to twenty minutes. Using it the entire time seems to prevent this issue from occurring. I reformatted and freshly installed Sierra and the issue persists. The RAM was added about six months ago, but the restarts are a good deal more recent that that....
Chosen Solution My MacBook boots up with the Apple logo just fine, but afterwards it just stays stuck on a white screen. I’ve tried booting into recovery as well but instead of a white screen, I get a blue screen, and it just stays there. I’m certain it’s not a hard drive issue because I used multiple hard drives and got the same results and the hard drives I used work fine on other computers....

If you had a laser thermometer it would be optimal. Assuming you don’t, best approach would be 30 secs, then test it on something you don’t actually need to fix. Then let it cool, or re-heat it as necessary....
