Chosen Solution Managed to drop my MBP whilst the bottom was detached and stripped a component from the board next to the LCD connector. Early 2011 17’ device. Be interested to find out what the component is so that I can fix the issue. Computer still works but with degraded graphics. The component marked in the red square next to the LCD connector is the part of interest. Graham Jennings that is reference designator L9011 which is a 90 ohm 100 mA DLP11S Murata common mode choke....

Chosen Solution Mac will not load. Disk utilty no longer sees the disk. However, when I load a windows installer usb flash drive on the Mac. Windows installer can read the drive using the Mac? I was thinking it has to be a cable issue. This makes no sense. Drive works perfectly plugged into another Mac. Could be your HDD cable, try an other cable and see if it works

Chosen Solution Hey there! My system has been shutting down consistently at around 70%-80%. To add to that, once I plug in the MagSafe in for a little bit, and it lights up, I can unplug it and the system will continue working until the battery is gone. I find that certain applications like games and such turn it off, but document applications don’t. I’ve followed alongside lots of examples: Installed CoconutBattery, made sure the design capacity is well above 70%Resetted SMC, let the computer sit from 100% to 0% multiple times already, and it doesn’t shut down in this case when I run some scripts to drain the batteryRan Apple Hardware Diagnostics with the extended test and no errors came back I was wondering if anybody has any solutions to this?...

Chosen Solution The back usb port , usually used for the wireless adapter has a golden pin missing and I beleive it is the reason for my Xbox not even starting. Any help for either removing the USB completely , or even just fixing the port enough to get it to just start up again. I would be forever grateful. Look closely, the pin is probably pushed back or bent and shorting on the metal casing for the usb port....

Chosen Solution I want to replace the LCD panel. I use the guide from this site and buy the parts and the tools also here. And I really wonder if I could use the Display Screws that I remove during disassembly instead of buying a new set? My MacBook is Core 2 Duo 2,16 A1181 Sure why not ? If the screws are not stripped and you have them all you don’t need new screws....

Chosen Solution My charger checked out ok and the batteries are fine. Cart will not make a sound in forward or reverse. Could it be a computer problem(mother board)? Similar but a bit different on my 2004 electric club car. Started to intermittently not function when I engaged accelerator. Would sometimes go after a short pause. Chosen Solution I just received a water damaged iPhone 7 Plus. I took out the logic board, cleaned it with some alcohol. When powered on, the device goes into a boot loop. Chosen Solution Hey all, I just fixed the power/lock button on my iPhone SE by taking it apart and cleaning it. It was sticking. I also swapped the battery while I was there. I took the logic board out first before taking the battery out so as not to cause any pry damage. After reassembly, everything works great and as it should except the flash. When the torch is activated from the pull-up Control Centre the flash blinks quickly for a split second (not at full brightness) and then remains off....

Chosen Solution So i dropped my iphone SE and ive noticed that whenever i use it, browsing the net, watching videos, it drains the battery fast and the Phone gets hot like very hot especially on the top of the iphone. I dont know why this is happening maybe because of the fall but i dont think it got wet or anything. Please send help If the problem started occurring shortly (or immediately) after the fall, then there is most likely some logic board damage....

Chosen Solution So I dropped my iPhone in water 4 days ago. Have done the whole rice thing and seen huge difference in it. However, only one side of my screen works and it is the one side which I need to unlock the phone. What would be the best way forward? Sorry to disappoint you but the “rice thing” does nothing to help your phone and causes more damage than it solves....

Chosen Solution Hey, I have iPhone X 64 GB and i have a isue that is pretty strange. Mobile, have broken glass back and screen too, but i changed screen and the problem is still the same. Everything works, just one thing, that was before and after screenreplacement. Rear camera doesn´t work on Camera app, front camera works fine, face id also, flash too, bet rear camera it just how to say stucks, freazes, it tries to focus and then show a image blury and freazes, if you try to focus somethin else you wait like 30 seconds and it focus that thing but still image is blurry and it doesn´t move, until you try to focus something else again and wait couple seconds and see again blurry dark picture....

I love my iPod Nano, but 16GB is simply not enough, and it doesn’t look like Apple have any plans for upgrading that line anytime soon. So unless I want to go looking for a competitor’s product that will allow me to use my own SD cards, I need to consider the possibility of switching the existing storage in the Nano to something a bit larger....

Chosen Solution My Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 keeps turning off and on. You don’t have time to do a factory reset because that’s all it does is go off and on. Any suggestions? I have tried the off and on button with the volume button to reset but it doesn’t stay on long enough. Try disconnecting the battery . This is a common problem with Samsung tablets and is often resolved by just disconnecting the battery for a few minutes....

Chosen Solution The drums turns in normal wash mode but as soon as the indicator light blinks between wash and spin the drum stops spinning and a strange rumbling noise is heard. We did do the pull plug out for 1 minute/open door 6 times in less than 12 seconds thing. WE have an LG Direct Drive front load washer. Do you know what it might be? Chosen Solution Hi all I have recently due to boredom of the coronavirus started trying repair as a hobby. While I am learning I wanted to start cheap so I picked up an iPhone 5 cheap on ebay with a broken screen. I purchased a replacement screen and when I first connected it the display was fine however the touch was not working as the connection came loose. I reopened the phone and had trouble with the digitizer clicking into place but managed to get it eventually then i clicked the rest into place but now the display looks like this....

Your unit came with Panther (10.3). You can get a copy of the original Grey disk from Apple for about $15. If you want Tiger you need to buy a Retail copy (Black) to do the install....
