The technical name for the size is P5 Pentalobe we really don’t get into the dimensions of the bit. You may want to use a pick to make sure the screw head is not filled in with junk. Also, Apple uses thread-seal, I often need to use a soldering iron to head up the screw (don’t get any solder on it) to soften the thread-seal a bit to get the screw loose....

Should i buy a macbook Air (2014 early) or should i buy a Macbook pro 2012 (mid) The macbook Pro is older, but i think its more powerfull, but the macbook Air is newer, so i think thats another advantage. Chosen Solution My Macbook Pro does not start (boot) anymore, no sign of life at all. What I tried so far: pressing the power on button in various combinations with the cmd, ctrl and shift buttons (as suggested on some websites) removed the battery, pressed the start button for at least 10 seconds and replaced the battery removed the battery and tried to start without battery (but with the battery charger connected) Doing a battery check (pushbutton at the left side) rusults is no leds lighting when the battery charger is disconnected and all leds lighting when the battery charger is connected....

Chosen Solution Hey! I have a Macbook air and I am trying to figure out what is wrong with it. The macbook doesn’t work without the AC plugged in. The battery does charge after I disconnect and then reconnect the battery and the I/O flex cable. But when I reboot it after that it stops charging again and only shows a green indicator. Anyway I got to the part where I had to remove the battery and like an idiot I used a flat bladed screw driver and tried to pry the battery away from the glue (I removed one row of glue using the tabs). Chosen Solution Bought an SE with a cracked screen on Craiglist. Phone was fully working. I purchased a replacement screen. I put the new screen on and everything was fine for ~30m. I come back to it after dinner, and colors are messed up and there’s already burn in on the screen (burn in of the home screen). The phone started randomly shutting down and would report 1% battery life on startup and whenever plugged in....

Chosen Solution Hi my iPod is frozen on the Apple Logo. I can reset by pushing the Menu and middle but immediately goes back to the Apple Logo. When it is plugged in sync mode itunes does not detect it. I can’t get it to reset or to sync. After leaveing it for several days it tells me to charge battery. Chosen Solution I purchased the battery install kit, and had no problems as far as getting it installed. Followed the steps afterwards to properly charge it the first time around. I noticed at around 65% charge left, the battery level jumped down to 8% out of nowhere. Not really sure what happened but now I’m worried the battery isn’t any good.
