Chosen Solution Hi community, One day after a long storage time I switched on my MacBook Pro 13" 2020 (A2251) and the left fan was on at full blast all the time — even with the machine switched off. The fan (usually 8881 rpm) only switches off when the machine goes completely out of battery. I tried SMC and PRAM reset to no avail, reinstalling the operating system didn’t help, etc etc....
Chosen Solution I do not know if its my fault, excessive use, or what, but basically the left thumbstick on my Afterglow wired controller has cracked and is now missing most of the surface area. The rubber pads that were on the joystick never lasted long either on both thumbs. Should I just use different controllers or replace my joysticks or something? I haven’t seen another controller before with this problem, except in very minor cases on original Xbox controllers....

Chosen Solution Okay, I feel like I have tried just about everything to try and remedy this problem and I have found nothing. About every 12-24 hours, when I am working or when the lid is even closed not being used, the MacBook Pro will randomly shut down. If I press the power button, 1 out of about 18 times, the computer will boot back up just fine. On very rare occasions, I need to first plug the charger in, press the power button, and then unplug the charger and then it will boot up, otherwise it will basically just act like a brick....
Chosen Solution I was given a Magnavox TV w/ DVD player (to fix and keep) that won’t turn on. Standby light illuminates when plugged in, wont turn on when power button is pressed (have not tried powering on with a remote as there is not a remote that came with it). TV was made by Funai, I’ve found numerous issues online for Magnavox TVs made by Funai, but most say swollen capacitors needs to be replaced....

After I completed the task, all features function, except that my Power Button (with Touch ID) keeps saying Maximum Fingerprint Limit Reached. I do have a used battery (“condition: replace soon”), and I’m not sure if I’m just connecting things, but it seems like it shuts off when someone turns on something power-intensive elsewhere in the household - could it be? Being that the Touch ID works however it doesn’t respond to being used as a back button. it was not an issue with the damaged screen as I did happen to test it. But after removing the damaged screen i can’t use it to test the home button....
