Chosen Solution My display broke after an accident on the bus (a week after I replaced the failing battery…) an I wonder if anyone knows if it matters if the replacement screen is for xxxx-01 or xxxx-03 (Droid, Euro etc) etc? The XT1650-03 appears to be the International Version of the phone. To my knowledge the biggest difference between the version numbers is the radio hardware, however it would seem that a xt1650-01 screen will work on the XT1650-03 and vice versa, but the XT1650-02 requires a different display because of the bezel styling....

Chosen Solution The machine seems as if it’s working with no load or with very small amount, but as soon as I put in a normal amount of material to be ground then the blades do not turn. It’s like whatever connects the blades to the spinning shaft has failed or does not engage properly. Also how do I get the blades off? the blades can be pulled off, pull hard,because the thread inside the plastic blade hub has stripped....

Chosen Solution Hello, my iphone 7 got very hot and turned off randomly, now when plugging it in tocharge it makes a low whine and this component gets very hot, well i think its this component as i dont have the equipment needed to pinpoint it any more, any ideas? The IC your are pointing too is the VDD_BOOST IC. It’s purpose is to maintain the main voltage rail at proper voltage when the battery gets too low....

Chosen Solution My Ipod Classic 160 gb is failing all of a sudden. Won’t respond at all when not connected to power. When connected, iPod flashes dim Apple screen over and over. If I try restoring it (center button+menu button hold), the screen will light up with the Apple logo but then constantly restarts that. Won’t show up on a computer. Can’t hear hard drive turning. Is the whole hard drive failing or just the logic board?...

Chosen Solution Apple has determined that my iPhone 5 has a swelling battery but will not replace it for free since it is over 3-1/2 years old. The swollen battery has separated the touch screen slightly but it still works perfectly. I saw this web site and I’m sure I can replace the battery but I’m concerned that there may be a safety issue since the current battery is swollen. Buying a battery will be a lot less expensive that paying the replacement cost of $269....

Chosen Solution I don’t know how it happened, but the MinoHD glass cover on the back has cracked right in the middle of the camera’s view. I thought, I could just take out the glass, however, this would leave the internals of the camera exposed. I cannot find a replacement glass and I’m not sure why Flip made the lens so fragile for something that can fit in your pocket. Anyone help?...

Chosen Solution Hello, I got a dead iPhone 6 with water damage. It was shorted so I found out the short was at the back light driver. I went to remove it and it fell off the board along with most of the pads. The phone still works and is unlocked but does not have a backlight. I am using it with a flashlight right now and it seems to work fine....

Chosen Solution Hi, I was just wondering if I could get a workaround if the iSight camera connector on the logic board has fallen off. Update (01/14/2017) No workaround. You will have to try soldering this back on. If you have pulled the pads off (they not accepting solder), you will have to run wires for each individual pin, if the anchor pads are still present. If you have ripped the pads off, I would learn to live without the camera....

Consider making a copy of a document as this is an All-In-One. If the copy works, then you know it is a driver issue and you should just reinstall the driver on the computer. You could also try connecting it to the computer in a different way (ie network connection or USB connection)....

Chosen Solution I have a model E551i-A2 and it to just went “White” on me… is there a fix or is it time for the trash? miknight could be a bad T-con board as well as a bad LCD. Take a look at the board and see if you can make out some obvious damage. Otherwise you could replace the board for ~$30USD and hope it fixes it.

Chosen Solution My wife’s iPhone 5c was having many touchscreen issues - mainly with the keyboard. While holding phone upright, the N, J, U, and sometimes H keys (while is QWERTY) cannot be used. If tilted to the side, the entire keyboard would (and does) work, but this option is not available all the time (when signing into iTunes, iCloud, etc). I replaced the LCD/digitizer (and the battery), but the problem remains....
