Chosen Solution Hello, I recently bought a ViewSonic VX3209-2K monitor to go with my mid 2011 Mac mini. It is only recognising the resolution of the monitor as 1080p. My monitor has been prompting me to change the resolution to 1440p. Highest resolution I can select is 1080p. I have updated the mac to the latest software. I even tried finding drivers for this monitor and there aren’t any, mac or windows....

It would run for a bit but then crash and never figured out why. The attached picture is the specs for her Mac. I’ve searched all over google for an answer and can’t figure out why it failed. Chosen Solution I have a Maytag Gas Dryer Model MGDC200XW2 about 8 years old. The dryer starts and runs properly for about 10 minutes and then shuts off completely. It will not restart for about 5 - 10 minutes - presumably until some part has cooled down/reset. After waiting for 5 or 10 minutes one pushes the start button and the dryer runs again for another 10 minutes or so. The clothes dry eventually but it may take 3 or 4 rounds to get them there....

I have tried clearing the USBsettings cache and data but nothing. Anyone got any ideas? We replaced the whole frame and front LCD Assembly (one piece) and it started working. Chosen Solution The red charging light on the airpods case isnt showing and neither the airpods are charging From what I can guess is that the battery or the charging port in the case could be defective. You could try using the wireless charging and see if the device charges. Unfortunately their isn’t an easy way to repair these. I do encourage that if the device is still under warranty that you bring it back to the seller and report the issue....

Chosen Solution I purchased a replacement battery in December 2019. Battery life seemed to be dropping off a bit in the last few months. In the last few days it has been terrible. I just checked coconutBattery and it says 459 cycles with only 50.5% design capacity and status is “check battery”. Do iFixit do any long-term testing on their replacement batteries? In my experience new Apple batteries start to experience some degradation after ~2 years but performance remains reasonable for 2-3 years after that depending on usage....

I am hoping I can avoid the only solution that Apple recommends for this damage - replacing the entire LCD screen. WTF? Chosen Solution I spilled a little water on the keyboard and immediately dried it out. The laptop functioned perfectly fine after. I was worried that there could be some water deep inside so, a couple days later, I removed the logic board to clean underneath it. There was not any water there. I used canned air to clean out dust, and a hairdryer to make sure there was no water. After reassembling, the left fan has been stuck at full speed whenever the computer is running....
