Chosen Solution My Macbook frequently hangs or freezes. Generally, have the spinning color wheel and sometimes just the mouse pointer. Control tab doesn’t work or does after a long delay. It’s acting like it’s really busy doing something. Activity monitor shows some apps are not responding, which app varies from time to time. If I wait long enough…hours…it will sometimes recover. The sure fire fix is to hard reboot. It has 4gb of RAM and I replaced the hard drive with a 1TB hard disk after I bought it about a year ago....

Chosen Solution About two weeks ago a small amount of water was spilled on a friends macbook pro. It has been sitting since then and I decided to see if i can get it running. When I press the power button (as one normally would when you start a computer) I can hear the HD try to spin for maybe a second or two, the front indicator light comes on, and then the computer shuts down immediately…BUT, when i hold the power button down for about 5 or so seconds, the hard drive will spin up and after the front indicator light blinks at me I can release the power button and it will boot as normal and run like a champ....

Chosen Solution I replaced my 2014 MBA’s (OSX Mojave 10.14.5) battery with the ifixit kit and followed the instructions for calibrating it. I never felt like it lasted as long as a new battery should, but particularly after less than 2 months, the new battery is as bad as the one it replaced. It discharges from 100% to shutting down (under 5%) usually within an hour. I’ve tried calibrating again, but each time I do, it only seems to get worse....

Chosen Solution My Kenmore under cabinet microwave is not working properly. I reset clock and when I shut door I hear a humming noise? I put a glass full of water in it and after 10 seconds or so I open door and water is boiling? I never turned on microwave but when I shut door seems to run automatic? Finish removing the logic board out noting the cables you still need to disconnect from the backside....

Chosen Solution I’ve been trying to fix my Benq XL2720Z monitor for months since the screen got cracked at the corner. First I bought a replacement LCD panel which was a “tested refurbished unit” but the monitor would power up with illuminated black Blank screen. Usually for BenQ monitors, there would be a purple splash screen with logo whenever you switched it on, even when not connected to a video source, and you can press menu to access the GUI....

Check your fans and make sure that those are working properly. Let us know if they are coming on at proper temperature. Since your thermostat is new check for proper installation....

So I dropped my iPhone 7 plus a few days ago and cracked the screen , So I went and bought a new screen replacement, but whenever I try and plug in the new screen replacement it gets stuck on the Apple logo, but when I plug in the old cracked screen it works normaly and doesn’t get stuck, I wonder if anyone can help. Chosen Solution so i had mine submerged for 30 minutes, it worked fine for 7 hours, and went black. what started happening it would start powering on, then going black. after about a few days it worked for about 15 minutes, then started trying to power itself on, then failing. the current situation is it will work for 5 minutes for every hour I let it sit, and it will shorten the 5 minutes to about a minute when charging....

For LTE (often misrepresented as 4g), it depends on which phone you have. The Verizon version doesn’t support all AT&T/T-Mobile bands, and vice versa. Chosen Solution I’m having problem the keyboard and the trackpad, it’s freezes. Sometimes SMC reset does the trick, but after awhile it will freezes again. I’m looking through boot log and got this: (IOHIDFamily) Invalid digitizer transducer So I’m just curious is the touchpad is the one to blame? Chosen Solution I was replacing the Touch IC chip on iPhone 6+ but accidentally broke some pads as seen in images below but to fix these pads I would have to wire it to the other side of the board also seen in screenshots of ZXW tool. Chosen Solution I was an idiot and forgot to put the protective metal cover back over the display ribbon cables for the iPad Air 2 (as shown in step 30). I already applied the adhesive and finished putting it back together. I plan to purchase more adhesive and take it back apart to put the cover back on, however, my question is: can any damage occur without this cover (i.e. grounding, etc....

Chosen Solution A few weeks ago my keyboard, USB ports and trackpad started shutting down randomly, when it happens my display stays on and my bluetooth shows its ‘unavailable’ symbol. It tends to happen when i am using more than one application, or when the computer heats up a little. I put my computer into apple to be fixed, but they couldn’t find any problems with it (fantastic!) Start your machine up from the original system installation disk holding down the “D” key....

Chosen Solution My Toshiba Satellite L305-DS5934 has taken a fit ! I can power it up and the screen just lightly flashes when you initially push the power button. The hard drive indication light is not flashing as it normally would either. I was thinking maybe video card? Any suggestions would be deeply appreciated! Chosen Solution So a customer of mine let his friend work on their computer. The screen was originally damaged so they bought a new LCD that came assembled with the frame. The back light was not functioning. The customer came to my store with yet another brand new LCD assembly also doing the same thing with no back light. If I connect the computer to a TV using the HDMI port it works fine....

Chosen Solution Hi. I have a macbook pro mid 2010. My video card is damaged. The computer often unexpected system restarts (GPU PANIC). Apple Authorized Service said it is necessary to replace the LOGIC BOARD. This service is very expensive in my country (Brazil). I’m trying to buy the card in the US. I wonder if I can take the occasion to upgrade by installing a mid-2012 pro macbook logic board in place of the logic board of the MacBook Pro mid-2010....
