Chosen Solution I recently received this macbook from a relative which seemed to work without a problem but recently, when turning on the laptop the screen would look grainy then after a while it would flicker and finally some parts of the screen would just be black. I tried the Apple Diagnostics (pressing D at the start) but it didn’t mention any issue. I also tried formatting my HDD from Internet Recovery and still nothing, also to mention that during the diagnostics and recovery the screen issue didn’t happen....

If it says no recording devices found the phone has an audio IC fault that has to be fixed by someone that does micro-soldering....

Chosen Solution So I replaced the home button on my iPhone 8+. To do that I unhooked the screen and took it off to make it easier. Now that I have everything hooked up the screen comes on, but the touch doesn’t work. I’ve hard reset several times with no help. It’s also the factory screen. You can’t replace the home button on iPhone 7 and up because Apple has made it impossible to do so without having their special calibration machine to do so which only Apple Authorised Businesses can get....

Chosen Solution i have recently replaced my lcd screen thinking that was the problem it went black as the vibrate was still working. by the time my lcd arrieved the phone went dead. i replaced the lcd and the iphone 3gs still didnt turn on.. i tried holding the power and home button whislt plugged into wall and still didnt turn on. then i dicided to replace battery and it turned on but very dim went to plug it into charge and with in a few seconds it swtiched off, and now wont turn back on again....

But there is no image at all on the LCD.. Phone is not water-damaged - the indicator’s look white and clean. Also under microscope did not found any damage to board. Chosen Solution This board is from an se I have and I wanted to replace the broken parts that you see on the picture, I have another se board that’s exactly the same. Can I desoder the parts from that board and soder them back on to my se board. I’m still new at soldering but I’m planning on using mini soldering tweezers. Any advice would be much appreciated. That is probably not a great plan—for now....

Chosen Solution Hi All, Have had a couple of strange issues, I thought I’d check in with the community and see if anyone has experienced them.. An iPhone 6S and an iPhone 7. Presented as battery replacements. After replacing the batteries, the phone would charge as normal. However when the phone goes flat, it won’t charge anymore. Battery life was as expected of a new one. The issue is the Tristar chip (controls charging and USB circuit) needs to be replaced via micro-soldering....

Chosen Solution I recieved this iPod nano 4th generation as gift. My friend said she bought them from Hong Kong. But I can not get this iPod to sync songs from my itunes. The itunes does not even reconize that the iPod nano is even there. Or it will act like it has synced the song and when you turn on iPod nano it says empty disc Thanks Tracy well, there is one tiny thing that comes in my mind when ir read “iPod nano” and “hong kong” - it’s most likely not even an iPod....

Chosen Solution Alright I have a Ipod touch 2nd gen and it wont charge past 20 percent on my computer. Once it gets to 20% it stops charging. I have replaced the usb cord so its not that and its not my computer because my friends charges fine. My computer keeps saying usb device not recognized. idk what to do on this. You may try to by a USB wall adapter....

Chosen Solution Well a couple of months ago, My phone[redmi 4/mi 4] started showing signs on a bulging battery, the phone has a metal back which due to the bulging, started to strain the screen, even at minor usage, the screen kept bending and I chose to put in a new battery, once the new battery was in, The bottom part of my touch screen started to show two issues. it either dostn’t let me touch that part of the screen and get no touch response or it just kept rapidly clicking at the bottom whenever i touched any part on the screen, causing unwanted actions which frankly gets on my nerves, it has been sometime and now I have used some application i found at the play-store to block any touch in that segment....

Apple doesn’t disclose the inner-workings of its custom chips so if you have a question on the details you will need to get the ChipWorks report and you may want to get the older iPhone 5 to compare it too....

Chosen Solution I work in a secure area so no cameras allowed. My iPhone 6 seems to have been retired by Apple so I am looking at my options for a new one in the near future. Maybe. Or maybe another version, getting close to retirement so would like to replace the cameras when I’m done if possible. i belive it should work without cameras, the X does.

Chosen Solution Most computers have a small Lithium cell powering a CMOS RAM (also called NVRAM) which keeps certain basic information. Howerver, in the teardown and repair guides there doesn’t seem to be such a battery. Does this model in fact use Flash or EEPROM technology for its NVRAM? Most Apple laptops (Dating back to the iBook) use a capacitor backed up by the main battery to hold date, time, and NVRAM (Apple techs tend to call the data/time/nvram combo “PRAM” or Parameter RAM), not a battery....

Chosen Solution My ipod wont shut off weshoward07 it should turn off if you just hold down play button until it turns off. It is one of the early signs of upcoming malfunctioning iPod if it start with difficulty turning it off. Also try a soft reset by pressing the menu button and the center button at the same time. Hold the buttons down for. Wait until the screen goes black and then the apple logo appears....

Chosen Solution Whenever i try to play a game in handheld mode, my joy-cons will not stay connected to the console( both left and right have this issue but the left side has gotten so bad that if i turn the device upside down without supporting the joycon it will literally just slide right off). This causes me to constantly have to stop, re-seat both controllers and choose handheld mode of play before i can continue....
