Chosen Solution Hi, My folks have a 10 year old LG LMX25981 refrigerator. A couple weeks ago it suddenly was running warm, both refrigerator and freezer. We removed the rear panel to ensure the fan was running (it was), checked the coils for dust build up (none), and made sure the doors seemed to be sealing well. Unplugged it for a couple days, plugged it back in a couple days ago, set the temps per manufacturer instructions (0 for freezer and 37 for refrigerator), and left it alone and running for 24 hours with a refrigerator thermometer inside....

Chosen Solution So with the headphones plugged in to my 7+, if I tap the bottom back of my iPhone with my knuckles my headphones cut out. The headphone controls don’t do anything, and the phone’s up/down toggle adjusts volume not headphones. The ear speaker doesn’t work during a phone call. I have the restart the phone for everything to work correctly. Charging, however is unaffected. Thoughts? Hmm…I don’t like the idea of tapping the device with your knuckles, the iPhone 7 series phones already have enough issues with bad traces and solder connections as it is....

Chosen Solution So I have a few questions. I’ll lay out the situation and ask them near the end. In May 2016 my graphics card failed. I purchased the replacement through the apple store and had it repaired for ~$800. In August 2016 my second internal drive 1TB failed and I purchased the replacement and repair through the apple store for ~$200. Now in October 2016 my logic board fails and I figure I should probably just buy a new computer....

Chosen Solution Having started with iPad mini screen replacements, I’ve noticed I’m losing the Smart Cover sleep function after digitiser replacement. I’m told by my supplier only genuine Apple digitisers have this IC chip (located near where the flex cables are for the digitiser) Is this true? I could see those cheap iPad screen would have issues with the sleep/wake sensors. I’ve used iPad mini screens from ifixit and never had an issue with the sensor not working....

You can also contact fitbit especially if under warranty or not, as a lot of people have had the same fault and they may value you as a customer and make things right(fit bit support last link)....

Chosen Solution My microwave started talking - saying over & over “your food is ready”. I have had it for 4 years & have never heard it say anything. The talking started by itself - microwave hadn’t been touched or used for 10 hours. I unplugged it and it is still emitting a beep (but no words) every few seconds for the last 30 hours. Chosen Solution Hello, I m going to try to explain everything as best as i can, this is the thing: I have an iPhone 7 Plus that had a cracked screen and the battery was pretty bad (50% condition) so i bought an iPhone 7 Plus that had activation lock and decided to just swap my board to the locked one because it was in better condition (screen and housing) and then the problems started, the first thing i noticed was the battery charge was stuck in 1% and sometimes showed 100% and after 5-6 minutes the phone restarted, i restored the phone with itunes thinking that would fix the problem but it didnt, then i swapped the boards again to the old housing but it was still the same, i even tried with the old battery and still the same (restarting every 5 minutes and stuck in 1%) So i took the phone to a repair shop and they told me that the phone had a bad Charge IC and they replaced it but it didnt solve the problem, i dont know to much about microsoldering or any of that stuff so i told them to keep looking for the problem, they had it for 2 weeks and told me they replaced almost every transitor, filter and even tried a few charge ICs but is still the same so they gave up and returned the phone to me as it was....

I believe you have answered your own question here Noel; the battery is completely dead and doesn’t have enough charge to boot. Try replacing the battery. iFixit has the battery in stock. Chosen Solution My iPod Mini comes on and shows an Apple symbol. After about 10 seconds or so, it gives the Apple web site address. Also, it displays a symbol of the drive with a line through it. The iPod Mini is charged and battery is OK. When turned on it also makes a clicking sound similar to when a hard drive is failing. Just get a Compact flash card and call it a day....

Chosen Solution Long story short, I was working on trying to remove the adhesive off my old battery and I accidentally punctured and sliced into the battery, peeling the outer covering a little bit. Is the battery safe to use? The battery still functions and charges it’s just punctured a little bit and the slice doesn’t seem to expose that much. Will this battery blow up or cause harm or can I cover the slice with some packing tape and still be safe?...

Chosen Solution With my Coolpix S8200 camera, I keep getting “lens error” on my screen. I have turned my camera off and on multiple times and replaced the battery with a new one but nothing seems to be helping. Is there anything I could do to try and get this camera working again? Chosen Solution Some of the keys do not type. Fixing individual keys is not usually possible, but a complete new keyboard is not that expensive and quite easy to fit. Make sure you get one of the right nationality (US, UK etc as appropriate) and do a google search for Asus X200CA keyboard replacement for a guide. From a quick glance it looks like there are one or two screws on the bottom of the laptop that you have to remove, then there are a few tabs, probably along the top of the keyboard, that you have to release with a spatula or thin knife to allow the keyboard to be lifted out....

LCD screen not working - Replaced the LCD screen and still nothing. Everything else is good with camera. Takes great photos, the EVF works OK. But too hard to use with ONLY the EVF. Can think of 2 things; Board on LCD fried - when replaced LCD used board from original 2....

Chosen Solution I recently got a mid-2010 MBP. It has the usual three beeps on startup indicating a RAM issue. The previous owner had bought two additional RAM chips, but this didn’t fix the problem. So I got 4 RAM chips in total. After trying different things, I’ve found out that all the chips work in the top slot (as in “it starts booting”), but only one of the chips works in the bottom slot....
