I am not a JTAG expert but I don’t believe that this pad will cause you any problems. JTAG is used for testing debugging purposes and only when accessing the JTAG connector. This connector is not accessible (the pads are underneath the SIM reader)....

Remove the screws at the bottom. Use credit card or guitar pick to pry between hte edges. It is as simple as that but I haven’t found a way to guarantee that the tabs wont break....

Chosen Solution I’ve replaced the charging port and checked the battery terminal while the phone was turned on with a multimeter and I’m getting 3.8 V down to 0.3V and it keeps jumping. Although the battery displays 3.67V with a voltmeter when it should be around 3.8. Is that healthy? As I can’t charge my phone as it says it’s not charging but detects the charger being put in. Sounds like you have an issue with the charging circuit, specifically Tristar....

Chosen Solution Replaced my buddies iMac hard drive (EMC 2389) and upon reassembly his LCD did not light up. Booted up fine. Chimed. 4th LED was not lit. We found that we damaged the LCD cable on the logic board end. We have purchased a replacement but saw no guide or instructions to replace that cable. Saw advice like, attach it via mother board first and then to the LCD last as it’s easier and a more studier connector on the LCD vs logic board....

Does anyone know If I can replace the connector with a connector B (from the I/O cable) or have a source for this part, other than buying a whole Logic-board? Both A and B connectors are the same size and each have 20 pins. I also tested the female side of the I/O cable and it does fit both A and B connectors....

I couldn’t find the option for the Powershot SX60 HS, but when I try to turn it on, it gives me the message ‘Lens Error, Will Shut Down Automatically, Restart Camera.’ I restarted it but it gives me the same messsage. Hi @sdmtnbiker, Here’s the Troubleshooting with Error code section of the service manual for the washer, which shows what the OE code means and what may be the problem. Hopefully a start.
